thats the main thing, ant re edit scooter do is good, its lile a refreshed verison, like the others, and now half of ATBGO had been re edited, cool.

After listening the full D'n'b remix sample on Juno, it's the best version I think and the movie version the worst of course, the New Kids guys are funny but a bit annoying....
This song is a nice refresh but it's sure we haven't to consider it really as a new single, I hope not, it's only a release for this movie, I'm really waiting for The Only One or any new single soon :)

DnB remix is really a smasher! the only bright spot in this mediocre release...it's really energetic, catchy and that new melody they added at 1:38 really creates a special mood...very unexpected surprise from Scooter...Actually, it would be 1000 times better to choose this mix as the video version! It's something fresh and new, that would attract much more people, while Friends Turbo is just a small, lazy update of the original Friends from 1995...if they decided to break their important rule not to release remakes/reboots/reworks of their own tracks as singles, they should've done it in a proper way! and not just to put some new HP shouts, modern kick, and call it a new version...come on, it's been 16 years, you could do so much more! really lazy job... :thumbdown:

I don't like Friends Turbo so much. It's just the same that as the original (which is better) with a new bassline, synth and stupid vocals "no more coffee, just have a beer" :D But at least this is not so bad as Jumping Fish. They totally ruined How Much Is The Fish? with it!

Guess I'll still buy the single though... :)

After hearing the long sample on Juno, I have to admit, I'm in love with the DnB mix, it's awesome with that extra piano and new synths. It's really the diamond of the release. A super version when you ask me :thumbup: :thumbup:

The DnB version is great! The movie version sucks as is well documented. Hopefully they'll release the DnB instead of an extended version via Kontor TV or something? (Crosses fingers, legs, eyes etc). The full DnB is on youtube already ;-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARxYyHHsftg

It's sad that "Friends Turbo" wasn't released on 12'' vinyl. In that case we would have both "Radio Version" and "The Drum 'n' Bass Mix" in high quality. :( ;( X(

Oh. My. God.

I can only assume that this was release is a marketing campaign for TSTI and nothing more because this glorified remix is probably one of the worst things I've heard come out of Scooter in years and that's saying something considering what they've given us in the past few years. Some new shouts after a classic track that's been beaten to death? I would honestly hope that there is some sort of financial logic behind this release that we don't see because musically, this is a disaster. It's amazing how poor the production is. I don't know if it was rushed or what but this should have never seen the light of day.

I can only imagine that this release is a way for people to see "SCOOTER" on the market and therefore get some hype going for TSTI without the band having to release an actual single.
