I'm the opposite. I do absolutely nothing with the cd's as I rip them to my pc anyway and never touch the cd again so I prefer to just download them instead and save money and environment. The cd's are only a pain as they take space and awkward to move my quite big collection when needed.

It seems likely, but like you say, we might be fooled by the title. But I would go for a Friends remake, just because the movie is about people that are stuck in the happy hardcore era so to speak...... but well, maybe we get a new 2011 happy hardcore bomb

I would think so, because it's a double A-side single. And well, when the FRIENDS TURBO track is for the movie, the video could be mainly made out of movie caps with a few new Scooter caps as addition. For THE ONLY ONE I expect a seperate new video, that will be in fact the most expensive of the two.

Why does Michael call the new single Friends Turbo, when it's to my knowledge supposed to be The Only One / Friends Turbo?

As we all thought FRIENDS TURBO for TURBO and the main most important of the double A-side.... but still I'm really looking forward to THE ONLY ONE, that should be the album teaser

So seems that Friends Turbo is the main single
Strange that the main page doesn't say a word about the single being a double a-side

But now I think the new Scooter track might be a sort of mashup of FRIENDS & TURBO .,... will be interesting to see how it in the end wil sound

Yeah, I thought of that already, I just don't hope it's a mashup, that would kinda suck.

And where did you read that's it's for all other countries and not for Germany only?
And afaik the movie is only released in Holland, Belgium and Germany...

They said it will be the main theme for the New Kids movie that will be soon in the cinema's in Germany and other country's.... so I thought they meant by it that from now on the Scooter track will be the main theme for the other country's. But I can be wrong ofcourse, but interpretated it that way

What the f...ish? The official page (yes, I know, it's not always the most trustable source) doesn't mention The Only One at all. Sigh... I don't know what to think, other than that they've made another bad choice, if the single focuses on Friends Turbo instead of TOO. Well. Perhaps you're right Alucard, maybe it's a one-off single and Turbo won't be on the new album. Still, bad news for the new album if they've worked hard on new style and all that, and then give a rework (if FT is that, of course no knowing yet) as the first taste... And generally I think Friends Turbo will be pretty different from what the new album will be (I also know that they've had singles before that haven't given a good sense of the new album, yes). I'm disappointed (in some abstract way) because I don't think they were referring to Friends Turbo when they posted "finished something really great in our studio yesterday, wish you could hear it right now" or posted the queen clip. (News of them making something for a movie came much later too.) I was getting ready for some massive tune that'd give the first taste of the new album. But now everything points to that they will focus on this movie instead!

Oh well. I just hope that they'll both be great tracks. That'll save the day. In case they're still going to release a double A? They might have changed that, since they have so much flexibility on such things.

Edit: Although if put it like Holland said, that's a nice idea indeed, a new happy hardcore track (in case it will be in that style).

@Count Acid: HP said himself it will be a double a-side, that's official enough I would say.
And off course the main track on the double a-side will be Friends Turbo, since it's made for a movie.
That being said, I don't think there will be a music video for The Only One.
The thing about "finished something really great yesterday" was not about either tracks of the single I think, because simply it was posted not that long ago. Both tracks are probably finished for some weeks already, thinking about the fact Friends Turbo is for the movie, they might want to use it in the movie somewhere, so there needs to be time for movie editing and stuff.

Maybe The Only One is a reworked version of One (Always Hardcore) and not Friends?

Or even both Friends Turbo and Only One are reworked versions?
