Seems like that we just get 2 track CD. Watch the price for the single. Only 3,49€. That's the regular price for a 2 track CD in Germany.

what about this:
Charlatans - The Only One I Know

released in the very early 90s, a top ten hit in the UK after release and I actually can imagine this Scooter-transformed with distorted vocals...
even though I'm very likely wrong :whistling:

That was a nice track :)

Hopefully it won't be long before the samples and the video - it's been so long since the last release I can't wait much longer :)

Yeah :S But it's inevitable nowedays it seems, because a few days ago I was in Germany, and in CD stores I could only find 2-track singles. I haven't found a single longer one :S So it seems on the download release we will get the full stuff and on the 2-track only the 2 singles....not a good thing, but nowedays music business works that way, and the physical single is really on its end :(

But we still get them, and we get them in WAV or FLAC if we choose so it's even better than the CD quality ;)

Maybe they'll just stop making extended, club mixes and b-sides and only release double a-sides in the future.

This may look old fashioned, but when I pay for something I want to be able to have it in my hands, I really prefer physical releases ;)

I buy the singles just because of b-sides and extended/club mixes or if the single sounds different than the album version (like with I'm Lonely).
If we get only 2 track singles, then Scooter know what they should include on the bonus CD for the next album...
I'm sick of re-re-re-re-releasing a best of CD as bonus, like with JAOTW, so they could at least give us those extended mixes and stuff that way.

WAV and FLAC are equal to CD quality, not better...
but with the CD you have something to put in your CD player, and a nice cover and sometimes even the video or other extra bonus

I really doubt they would stop now. The B-sides they include usually have great success such as Scarborough Reloaded.

Yeah, I can't see that happening either. You guys draw conclusions too quickly! It's just one single, and it being a double single makes it a bit different.

Hey @scooterworld I agree I hate downloads for some reason, I much prefer the cd ''in my hands'' so to speak :)

I'm going with the Charlatans theory. It sounds like it could be ideal for a sample. Also from wiki

"The Only One I Know" (14 May 1990) - #9 UK - covers both of what has been said earlier. Early 90's and Top Ten UK

But it doesn't have distorted vocals, nor could its vocals be distorted in any reasonable way, in my view. (I'm referring to mea's hint about distorted vocals.) I think that song is too relaxed to offer a chorus or anything else.

That hint might have been for FRIENDS TURBO -> 90s lyrics, distorted "megaphone" vocals ;)

@ CabooseJr and Count Acid: I was not being serious, but that's hard to see from just text

@Scooterworld: Might, but I think (too lazy to check back) at that time we didn't know the name of the single yet or that it'd be a double single, so the logical conclusion would be that it was about the main single, the one they had mentioned finishing in Facebook and called the next Scooter single. Otherwise it's a possibility.....
Edit: I went back to confirm, and at the time of the hint we had not had these news yet. It was posted March 17th: http://www.scootertechno.com/forum/index…9189#post409189

Uh?? Is The Only One the main single and "Friends Turbo" just a new version on Friends???

Or is it a double-a single?
