That;s a first for Scooter I think, that they had to stop a gig due to some riots downstairs. 8| They certainly were in the news in the papers. It seems those organisers were really not knowing how much could fit into the club

so the organizer didn't have a clue how much people would fit into the venue?

They had to cancel the gig for a moment

so they continued the show after a few minutes?

Wow, I have never seen that before 8| One user on youtube has written:

All time f*ck up from the gig organizer Radio KLF and Vantaa ONNELA. Thank you for this sh*t. Never saw the band cause 2500 tickets were sold and space was enough for 1500 at max. Surprising enough organizer or restaurant staff vanished and were beyond contact about the f*ck up here even for police.

Yes, that's probably a given ;) They will need to get a decent promoter though, it's not fair that they sold 1000 extra tickets, must have been a very dangerous night. :S I hope no one got seriously hurt, and I hope something is done about that awful promoter

Absolutely the worst show I have ever been in my life. And i've been to many concerts.. ( not only Scooter )

I heard reviews from non-Finnish people about concerts of ANY type in Finland and 99.9% of them said, that drunkin Finnish people are animals. Well, I had to see it to believe it. I was thinking of leaving the concert after 2 or 3 songs.

Absolutely awful the way people act. Fights were everywhere, broken glasses etc. I knew it would be not as good as an open-air, which i'm more used to, but I never imagined this.

I'll think twice now about going to Linkin Park in Helsinki in june...

HP was sh1t also. He was quite drunk IMO.

Blimey 8|
I never realised the Finns were like that.. All of them I know you'd think they were stoners they're so chilled out.. Glad I didn't go now. Just hope that Brno doesn't kick off as I'd rather takes my chances with a crowd in Finland than one from Czech..

Czech crowds aren't really too bad, you just need to be careful. Definitely not as bad as the way the Finnish crowd was described.

I wasn't there -- I decided not to go because I hate this chain of clubs and have heard they've had problems before, and because I would have had so much trouble actually getting there (our transportation is unreliable, costly, and badly scheduled). Also a good thing I wasn't going because I'm in some strange illness and would've been quite uncomfortable...

Anyway, too bad for everyone who wanted to see Scooter and couldn't! Damn that club! I hope this bad club and organizers won't taint Finland for Scooter or other good bands... I read that the capacity of the entire two-storey club is about 2500, but the upstairs, where the show was, is about 1500. Obviously everyone who comes for a show will want to see it where it is, upstairs... Thus the organizers can say/lie that a right amount of tickets was sold, that the capacity of the place is 2500... This combined with the narrow stairs of the place and so on created a situation where a slight panic happened. Luckily nothing worse... Be sure to demand your money back from the organizers if you couldn't get in or upstairs to see them...

But looking at the footage it looks like it was an energetic and great gig! Love the way HP handled the situation -- if you're quiet and calm we are probably allowed to continue soon... And I'm glad to hear they were given the chance to. :) It's nice for them to come for a small gig like this -- look how small the stage is :D -- and then have a show like the TSTI!

@Marat: That's why I like my shows elsewhere, this people can't behave itself...
 This is a signature.

mmm.. Better keep that quiet from the wife.. She's as grumpy as hell that I'm going as it is (Due to missing my flight home from Stuttgart in December). Oh well, if you can cope with oasis gigs this should be easy enough

Oh dear Sandra, I'm sorry to hear that :( I suppose anywhere there is alcohol, people drink too much of it and party too hard.

Look at how packed that crowd was in Helsinki, this is footage from the stage
