For example, if you're American and you happen to be a Democrat - I think it's a pretty respectable political category that can go towards defining yourself as a person.
I agree with you on that. I actually just meant this whole "Mainstream - Outsiders" thing, which I'm absolutely not a fan of.

Those two terms are usually applied to you as a label - rather than a self-identifying mechanism. But if it helps some people move forward with their lives and gives them a distinction worth meaning... guess we should just let it be. It just occurred to me that there are certain sub-cultures that reject anything that could be perceived as conformist. GTA is definitely not one of them! Heh, guess he's just unique in a very special way.
