FAQ - How to be a COOL Scooterfan? :)

You have probably seen a lot of fans around who are definitely the coolest guys on the planet. You may wonder, "how the hell do they do it?!" - well, fear no more, 'cause now you can be just like them, if you pay attention! ;)

So, how to be a COOL Scooterfan? Follow these 10 steps to be the biggest badass ultimate mega-cool Scooter supporter in the whole world!

1. Nickname
Be sure to include something related to SCOOTER in your nickname! Something like "WickedScooterBoy", "CrazyPosse16" or "SheffieldDavidIce" are good to go. Of course, the best choices are simply "H.P." or "Rick", but those are probably taken already.

2. Avatar
It is crucial that you put H.P. in your avatar - that makes you COOL and so original! The more extraordinary pic you can find of H.P., the COOLER you are! If you're a girl, be sure to draw a heart around H.P.'s face, to show everyone that you LOVE H.P.!!! If you even have a photo WITH H.P., that makes you ultimate COOL.

3. Location
Using your hometown is so lame. Use something SCOOTERRIFIC! Like "Where the beats never end", "Behind the cow", "Back in the UK" or simply "Sheffield". If you DO live in Sheffield or Bramfeld, you definitely hit the jackpot!

4. Signature
You signature MUST contain some H.P. lyrics. Choose any of them, but make sure it has some philosophical content! "Life without knowledge is death in disguise" or "What is essential is invisible to the eye" are perfect! Also include the date of the next concert you're going to, warning the others to expect you there. If you're a girl, write something that admires H.P.'s look.
Of course, write these in GODDAMN HUGE LETTERS so everyone notice it!

5. Forum behavior
Be sure to open at least one topic right after registration telling everyone that you're a HUGE Scooterfan! If you did everything in steps 1-4, you'll get warm welcome and lots of respect! From this point, open a new topic every now-and-then, saying "<random track title> is my favourite Scooter track!" or "I love my <random album title> CD!". If someone opens a topic about something unrelated to Scooter, or even his/her personal life (duh!), don't you reply! It's a SCOOTER forum, isn't it?!
Also don't forget to post in the "<something> of the day" topics once a day!

6. Being up-to-date
The latest Scooter tracks are AWESOME. No questions asked. If anyone says something negative about the latest album or single, report them to the moderators to get them banned asap! Don't open or reply to topics discussing older Scooter songs! Listening to 1st chapter tracks are so NOT COOL!

7. Having a Scooter website
Be sure to make a fansite, preferably on a free web hosting service. No problem if you lack web programming knowledge or even basic design skills, just do it! It's COOL!

8. Collection
Not having original CDs is NOT COOL! Be sure to hunt down EVERYTHING related to Scooter! Having all of their released material is the first step. If you can get your hands on a roll of toilet paper from concert backstage, you RULE!

9. Activity outside the forum
Like Scooter on Facebook and follow them on Twitter! Be sure to LIKE EVERYTHING the officials post! If you have the time, like everything others post on the official page. Don't forget to put H.P. lyrics in your status updates each day, and post lots of Scooter videos from YouTube so all your friends can see that you're the COOLEST Scooterfan all around! Girls should upload as many pictures of H.P. as they can.

10. Appearance
Boys only: dye / bleach your hair regularly, and use exactly the same hair color spray H.P. uses, to look exactly like him! Also buy the same Ed Hardy t-shirts he uses on stage, to make your look more authentic. This makes you so COOL - and original!
Everyone: get a Scooter-related tattoo! The Sheffield Tunes logo is cool enough, but the girls can be cooler if they get H.P.'s handwriting done on their boobs!
Real Scooterfans have Scooter cars too, so get some Scooter logos and artwork painted on yours! You might even consider buying a Jaguar E-Type if you can afford it, cause that can make you ALWAYS HARDCORE COOL!

Well, that's all you need to know. Now go, and be the coolest Scooterfan you can be! Good luck :)

Hum...Im going to go out on a limb here and say that was sarcasm. :D Lots of it was funny, I am guilty of 2 of those things. but seriously was that a personal shot at me?
Be sure to include something related to SCOOTER in your nickname! Something like "WickedScooterBoy",

1. Well it's a Scooter forum so I wanted to have something related.
2. Check!
3. I would like to be in a different country...
4. Check, the concert part.
5. Don't really apply to me, these.
6. They are awesome at least for a few weeks, but after that I might like the old favourites better. But can't see what'd be uncool about 1st chapter tracks. Or really what'd be cool in listening to any music...
7. Check. My page is simply for the tracklist I've done and it works the best as a simple html file and hosting that costs would be a bit daff for something that receives a visitor a month.
8. I have the very first single (Vallée), one version of each album (not counting JAOTW) and singles starting only from some 3rd chapter single. But I still think it's the best to have the in physical form because I want to have my music in physical form sitting in my shelf (and on harddrive, converted into mp3). And that often also shows that you have gotten the music in a legal way and supported the artist.
9. They don't really post anything so no point following the said accounts...
10. Each for an appearance of his/her own... If someone wants to look like HP fully or partly, I don't see any problem with that. Besides, I don't think there's anything "original" in dressing or appearance unless you are Lady Gaga.
 This is a signature.

All the clauses mentioned in the first post are really suitable for a subculture.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

Yep - certainly sarcasm - but i think it's aimed at quite a few, not anyone in particular - I certainly am included in quite a few - I have a Scooter website, I have a huge collection, my signature has lyrics, HP has signed a T-shirt I was wearing, I have been known to post lyrics and videos on my Facebook status ....but this is a Scooter forum, a place where Scooter fans can come together to discuss our favourite band, so it's not really suprising - I for one and proud of my tattoo, autographed T-shirt, Scooter collection - and i can't help it if Scooter do make the very best music, and have not produced a track I don't like :D

Yes I agree, showing a persons devotion for a band is wonderful. Hehe, I wouldn't have thought you had a Scooter Tattoo, but that cool! But I didnt really appreciate the sucker punch thrown at me. "WickedScooterBoy" really?

lol, not at all :) I just wrote something that popped into my mind - just a coincidence I swear.

And yeah, it was meant to be funny... but if any of you feels offended, maybe you should think about the whole thing for a minute.

Man you're really bored!!! 8o 8o 8o ROFL :D

1. My nick has sth related to Scooter.
2. HP is not that cool. If I want to have an avatar with someone on it who's cool, that's definitely ME!!!!! (Michael is also cool.)
3. Location: And back to Hungary! Once again! (I hit the jackpot, I live in Hungary.)
4. Signature: you can see, there is a Scooter lyric.
5. I have at least one topic which is started by me and I write about the thing that I'm a HUGE Scooter-fan. Look at The Freak Show Topic. Well, reading 30-40 pages just to find a sentence is NOT COOL. And I usually write something to a Xxxx-of-the-day topic.
6. Some NEW tracks are AWESOME and some OLD tracks are WEAK. Mostly because rave instrumentals are not my taste. (Except Euphoria, that's huge!)
7. I have a YouTube channel dedicated to Scooter. http://youtube.com/krisztiscooterfan And YouTube is a website, so there's nothing to talk about. ;)
8. I have a Scooter collection! Also I have a poster, which can be also called BOOKLET.
9. I like most of the things they write on FB. Also I write a status in connection with Scooter every day.
10. As my behaviour is quite like a guy's, I can use the thing you said: but there's a difference. I don't bleach/dye my hair to look like HP, but I've got a cool haircut, a bit like Michael's, and I also wear men's V-neck T-shirts like he does. You said there must be a Scooter tattoo. I grab my pen and then I write Scooter onto my hand. And you also mentioned a Scooter-car, and I have that too: when we went to Szeged this summer, I put a Scooter-logo onto my dad's Wartburg.

So, all I can say: I AM COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D And you really made me laugh. Thanks. :)
But you forgot something: ALWAYS USE SMILEYS IN YOUR POSTS LIKE: :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

How to be a cool scooter-fan

Hello very Cool Scooter-fan. :)
I think all the things you write about how to be a cool Scooter-fan, I think they are very inspiring  But to me it sounds like, itīs some kind of competition in how cool you can be Writing the right things in your profile and how your picture has to be.. and how big your collection you have, and how many rare items etc... Then I just think, what about those who donīt have so big collection and have not been a fan for so long ? Are we then "not-cool" fans ? What is wrong by writing your hometown.. I wrote mine.. Am I then lame 8|
.
Itīs not to critizise what you wrote, but itīs just to say, that maybe it could make some feel, that they are not good enough, and you have to do this and that to be "accepted". Isnīt it most important just to be yourself .. enjoy the music and love Scooter :)

Best Regards :)

Hahaha....this story really made me laugh and in some parts I recognized myself a bit :D :D Luckily not in all ...hahaha ;)

1. Scooterworld seems to be Scooter related, I can't hide that. I invented the name already on the "old" forum back in 2000 ;)
4. I have a Scooter related signature pic, and have written with some Scooter lyrics a "story" about the Inferno concert in 2011
7. I had 2 websites during my fan being. First an older one and than a newer one, but I stoped them, they are still online, but nothing happens there anymore ;)
8. I do collect, no doubt about it :D
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D

I love their music but I don't want to prove it. Most of my Scooter collection is the ilegal downloads or pirate disks. I don't wear the Scooter t-shirts. There's no huge poster above my bed. ... Thier music makes me feel the way I want to feel and I want them to go on even if they turn into the long-bearded olds with their bald heads.
