My prediction

hello folks,

here are many discussions in this community about the upcomming new scooter style, a mix of techno with electro and house influences.

I think we can expect something likes this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrzRmU51zTI

this song could be a typical scooter song with electro / house influences. #
btw, this song is awesome!

Yes, I must say that this one is an upfliting track. I can imagine sth. similar produced by Scooter - HP shouts, the bass+beats a bit softer and more groovy than the Weekend- or Nessaja-dance-beats/bass, a trancy melody in the background and a catchy chorus. It could work because such a style wouldn't abolish the the typical Scooter elements (upflifting atmopshere, catchy tunes etc.), but would bring a fresh wind into the Scooter style and it wouldn't be as monotoneous as many house tracks are ("We no speak Americano" e. g. constists for 2/3 of the same beat and the same beep).

Nice sound, technically. I can imagine the possible influences better now, having heard this. However, I think the album will be more varied (than JAOTW and UTROTT) again, I think there'll be more styles like before.
 This is a signature.

Horrible. Your predictions are very scary. I hope Scooter will never go into the pure pop music a little influenced by electronica, like all these present pop-stars. If they will do something like this then 2012 thing is true and the apocalypsis is as near as never before.

Of course it won't be exactly the same style like this Iglesias-song. Iglesias is still a pop artist and Scooter are still artists of the electronically produced music. And I think this will stay like that. ;)
Iglesias' song is pop influenced by dance/house/electro. If Scooter will do sth. similar, their sound will be dance/house/electro influenced by pop.

Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

It could fit in some ways to Scooter, but on the other side also not. Hard to say....but it's for sure the best Enrique single ever made ;)

I like the tune, but I don't think it would fit the Scooter sound. However, the beat structure and use of synths sounds like something they could do ;)

Gott in Himmel, nein! No pop, synth garbage! I think they are going to slide more into house/electro style but find some way keep it within the traditions of Scooter.

THIS is very important...fresh up your sound, but find a way to stay yourself, Scooter.

maybe a bit of a beat structure like this song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCErJJSmFbo&feature=channel

it's a very strange image, so please don't be shocked ;)

I know this is a catchy song and very un scooter like, but I'm posting it to show what the new songs might be like beat structure wise. Slower than the regular Scooter, but still energetic

The 2 links posted in this topic are aweful! If Scooter will release songs like those 2, it will be the end for me as a Scooter fan!
For the moment i'm patient, waiting for the new stuff without taking seriously this kind of useless topics and i hope Scooter will keep their main style alive no matter what influences are on the new album!

Yes, that's is very important. Without that it will be a big gamble for Scooter. So I do hope, and think, that it will still be 100% recognisable as a Scooter track even if in a new style ;)

Haha. Well, I don't even consider that they'll sound exactly like this. They know that'd be their end, and I doubt the guys themselves like anything this pop. My earlier post is badly written (I'll edit it...) -- what I meant to say was that I can imagine the possible electro influences in their sound better now, hearing this track. But this track, while it sounds technically nice, is not what I'd be willing to listen to on repeat, HP vocals or not. It lacks something I want. Anyway, if they went pure pop, I'd just skip that record. But as said, I think such fear is totally useless.

The only reason I posted that link was to show the beat structure ;)

Not the standard 140-150 Scooter style, but not 128 for house either. There will probably be some at 128, but not nearly as much as in between with 131-135 (more armada trance style  ) slower but just as powerful :D

for one scooter dont copy peopleto sound like them, its more theother way round to me,
and secondly, scooter choose there samples and fit it to there style to make itwhat it comes out like

it will be a scooter styled album as usual with the influence of electro and progressive, whichever style scooter choose to make progressive

I think I know what you mean with the beat structur that is something in between the regular Scooter style and the current house music.
"I'm lonely" and "Ti Sento" were a mixture of trance (especially the melody) and the trendy jumpstyle/hardstyle (especially the beats), "Nessaja" was a mixture of the trendy dance style around 2002-2004 (especially the beats) and trance (especially the melody), so the new style could be a mixture of trancy-Scooterish mellows and house bits that are a bit faster and harder than the current house stuff.
But I think the new album will be in some way completely different from most of the things we're thinking here. A friend of mine said: "Scooter never do what they say [in the beginning of an album production]". ;)
(We already feared a house album when listening to "Shake that!" for the first time and some comments by the band increased that fear - but Mind the gap didn't become a house album)

True ;) I also thought, when I heared Shake That for the first time, that we would get an album with many more tracks in that style, and it wasn't the case. One can never guess or expect what Scooter will do next. It's always a big surprise....and that's very good 8)
Although I was right with my prediction last time in 2008 that Scooter might start making "shuffle" music, and they did with UTROTT :D
