its too early to assume what scooter are doing, this elecro may only be a slight infuence or a full on electro album
no one knows yet, only that it will be INFLUENCED BY PROGRESSIVE AND ELECTRO, and be mixed with the scooter style as they have built up over there career

let wait and see before we make assumption,
maybe the mtv show will shed a little light or some slight info

That's a fact ;) We have like 10% info of how the album will sound, and the rest is still in the stars, considering the sound. And "Influenced" means something different than actually 100% electro / progressive tracks ;)

But I think that within the next 2 months we should get a glimpse of the new sound in the form of a single. 8)

yeah me too, and the mtv show may well have the new single
and i agree that the new single could well open the facts up as to the new album,
but remember when BTC was released, we all had a idea of what to expect, but the album was completly different, now that will be a nice suprice

That's true, but JAH for example showed how UTROTT will be sounding, so I think this time it will be again the case. But I have to agree that after hearing BTC I expected also some different music on the album, but also expected some surprises and some experimenting (because BTC had both ;) ), and that was actually a fact on TUAO. It was full of surprises in the form of great ancient melody's and it was also somewhat experimental with divers sound 8)

looks to me scooter are moving on from that, as we well seen on TUAO, the album was very much like the last albums and so it wasnt successful,
where with JAOTW was very sucessful, due mainly to the new sound, unfortantly in some ways UTROTT was not as successful
so i guesss scooters new stuff will reflect on this formula,

well, showtek proved they can invent a 'new' style by experimenting. but I don't think scooter will come up with something original as showtek...

I don't know how long Showtek exists, but I think far shorter than Scooter. So they are more "new" stars, and than you have many more ideas and creativity I suppose to be able to invent styles. After almost 17 year's, like Scooter does, one for sure has more difficulties to invent new styles, because people expect a certain sound after such a long career....so one makes changes, but not to big, to not scare away the "old" fans. But well, it's also a fact that by being 17 years in the music industry one has more experience, so one could aslo be more able to invent new styles. Hard to say, but new bands always are fresher and more inventing than old ones so to speak ;)
