Not sure what I think about Ratty - in a way it's too closely linked to Axel - I think a new project would be better

That's great then. Ratty is the best side-project of them ever. hmm...

Maybe Ratty's recovery is a kind of bonus aimed at the old-school fans who may not like new electro influences, but may compensate it with Ratty trance tunes.

i really want more ratty stuff but i think it's better to come up with a new project. axel was part of ratty so the glory comes to him for that project. since sounds have been changed over the past 10 years a new ratty won't sound as good as the original. so a new project in nowadays style would be better and certainly if there's a new guy on board...

I don't know -- it'd have to be pretty good movie to have that effect, I think. Will the German audience love it that much? For some reason I doubt it. I'm still not convinced it will get more attention than TOO will, especially if TOO really is hammergeil. I hope TOO will do better. (The last thing we need is encouraging them to start reworking their old material.) Whereas I'm not against hearing an updated, all-new version of Friends, I still hope it won't be that, but just have Friends in the title for whatever reasons. Rrgh, need to hear samples now!

Yeah, Axel was their assistant before he was a member, I remember reading. It's a sort of tradition, it seems. But not sure if it will ever happen with the new guy -- he's too young, too different generation, the dynamic wouldn't work.

Here the movie was a real hit, and there was a big demand from Germany to release it there, so I suppose it could get quite succesfull. It shows Dutch people on it's most stupid way LOL

And many German "schlager" artists have similar hair to the actors of NEW KIDS, so some Germans will recognise themselves too in that movie

I do hope that because of the movie, the TOO track won't get in the shadow of FT, but well, it could happen. But for us fans it won't happen, but for the general buying public it might

In that case the situation is grimmer than I expected.

I'll just keep my fingers crossed for TOO to drown the other single in noise. Yeah, I know, I have issues! But I'd just love to see TOO getting big after all the hard work that they've done with their new sound, and not because of another track that's in a comedy (perhaps) and (perhaps) a reworked classic.

I do hope that THE ONLY ONE will give a good preview of how the album generally will sound, but knowing Scooter the album might be totally different in style than we expect according to the first single, just look at "Shake That" and "MIND THE GAP" for example

...... but than again, this new single might also show us 2 totally different songs....one maybe a more updated happy hardcore sound (FT) and one more the new sound (TOO) ...so we might be put on twisted tracks after the single release

maybe this assistant is just a collab or somthing like that,

i recall the interview saying he is doing good club music

and when they mentioned ratty aswell, i could be that axel has had some kinda contact to help revive the origal ratty, but that is a long shot

Well, it could mean we will get a few cooperations on the new album, who knows, maybe Mantas is in the studio recording some E/guitar riffs. Would be cool

But it can also be that they´re discussing with some support acts for the Inferno gig
