I avoided the samples from UTROTT. I guess I'll try again, this year.

@ Ed btw.: I hope you are again part of the peoples who do not listen to the samples untill the album is released. I will be part of it this time.

I tried to be part of it last year, and succeeded for a very long time, but than when fans that were also part of that group told me that they had listened to the samples, I finally couldn't resist anymore and a week or so before the album release listened the samples only once, and than refrained of listening them until the album came. ;)

I think Sandra needs not to say where she gots the infos from (@peter) because if someone in this community is trustable than it is Sandra for sure.

true, sandra is like a voice of reason.

like AEM did in the past

i miss his little hints, it always gave you a feeling of knowing, now we just dont know and speculate

I really hope and expect there will be at least one single before the Inferno, and I also hope we get some info about a single soon, I can't wait, it's been too long since we heard something new

i think there will be, also this one single could provide the bulk of the final promo, a single soon could really boost morale and sales for the inferno.

@ Ed btw.: I hope you are again part of the peoples who do not listen to the samples untill the album is released. I will be part of it this time.

i cant help it, i have to hear them, but i do try to limit the times i listen to them, one time is good, but then you think, that was a great track, but how did it go again, and before you know it you nonstop listen to them, althoungh i dont, like i said, i restrict and listen to them once or twice, just for the feel of the album.

I don't have that much patience - I will listen to the samples over and over :)

I never want to listen to the samples. But when they are online, I think; "Listening to 1 or 2 samples may not harm". And in the end I have always listened to them all. It's the same story with every album release. 8)

I will only listen to the sample of the new single and will not listen to the album tracks samples. I've already used this strategy with UTROTT and I'm happy with the result :) I recommend it to all :))

Lets face it. All of you will, at some point, listen to the samples. Whether it's only a little bit or not!

I will listen to the single(s) released before the album. But I'll try to resist the album itself.
I managed it with UTROTT; and I'll do it again.

I don't understand people's reservations about listening to samples.
I love them
They get me excited about the song
Also quite often I don't warm to a song straight away and require multiple listenings before I grow to love it

Same here ;) And when you listen to samples you in a way already start to love a certain song before you listened the whole song. Without samples an album might at first listen be too much to cope for ones brain, because one isn't prepared at all for what's to come, and one gets too much new information at once.

I see it from another point. When I listened to the samples of the last albums (JAOTW & UTROTT) I was very happy about the tracks I listened to but when I listened to the entire tracks (after I got the album) they were not as good as I thought. Its like tasting a small piece of cheese. When I give you a tiny bit of cheese (in this case a smaple of a track) it tasts better than a bigger piece of cheese (the entire track). Thats why I wont listen to the samples this time. They make me happy and when listening to the entire song I come down from my "awesome track" trip. I am quite sure I will not listen to the samples this time.

If you resist the samples, and hear the songs for the first time in their full versions when you get the cd and put it in your player... it's that nostalgic feeling, when you don't know what to expect.

If you listen to the samples, you already know what to expect. You don't get that surprise.
And you can risk getting sick of a song before the album is even released, if you listen to the sample in a constant loop.

the best thing is to know when the album comes out, buy it and read the tracklist for the first time! that's what i'm planning to do. in the past, when there was no internet and scooter albums did appear in belgian storen, i even didn't know the album name. wonderful days!
scooter,come back to belgium!!!
