I know Ed (SW)... And I can understand that! The only thing I hate is when everyone is adding a fake tracklist or something.

Or maybe something like this what was made 2 years ago:
(I've add it now on my own site... couldn't find it anymore)

Yesterday Is History, Today Is A Gift, Tomorrow Is Mystery...

I have to agree on that. Those fake "news" and fake "tracks" make it sometimes a bit confusing for some people that don't visit the forum often. Luckily the "fake tracklist" topics are called like that, so one knows it are only ideas from fans. But sometimes due to the fakes one at the first moment thinks that there's really news, and than when one reads it seems all to be nonsense, yes :S

@The-Flying-Dutchman: I hope you're right because I too have felt like that since yesterday! It'd be about the time to have some news...

I keep checking the official page and their facebook almost hourly, sometimes more if I forget I've just checked a few moments ago. :D I'm really excited about this album because of all their talk about getting into a new sound, buying new equipment, and the propinquity of Inferno... And it simply can't be too long now if they're keeping their deadline... :) Every morning when I come online I hope that "maybe this time...!". I don't fear that it's going to be some electro house sh1t, knowing Scooter there will still be hooks, bass, and energy; I don't think they'd make anything that can't be clubbed to. And the idea that this album might have stuff especially toned for TSTI just waters my mouth.

That's exactly why I don't think the album will be House - what kind of a "Techno Inferno" has a BPM of 128 :P

Hoping for a trance hybrid, maybe some nice Hardstyle, but a unique sound.

Someone's getting excited :D :D But I have to admit I also expect everyday to get a big surprise in the form of some news about some new tunes Scooter made. It should be not that long anymore. The first mentionned date in the interview, March 2011, is aproaching quickly, so I would say soon there should be some news concerning the new first single of the fortcomming album. The album should come around 4 weeks after the single, so than it's already spring / early summer, if the single / new tune / new music will be released in March, like an interview said. :D

Maybe they will combine their typical sounds/styles with classical elements to give an epic atmosphere and a more overwhelming background to their songs (could sound a bit like "Call me Manana", "Habanera" or "Ti Sento"). They could become some kind of "techno Nightwish".
Gigi d'Agostino did the same some years ago and it sounded more epic than "usual" dance tracks (listen to "Summer of energy (Viaggio Mix)" or "Welcome to Paradise" - of course Gigi's songs are softer than Scooter's, but I could imagine a harder combination of techno and classical sound as well) .

I wouldn't mind that  I like tracks that are "full" of sound so to speak :) And as you mention, Scooter did it before, so it's not out of the question that this will happen ;)

It could be like that:
lead single in late April/early May,
album in late May,
Inferno in June

first news about album and single in the beginning/middle of March

mhhh, I hope not. I am already looking to the homepage 5 times a day. Won't do that for the next 3 months :(

Yeah. :D I think it should be earlier -- the album in April as they estimated. I have a feeling it's now silent before the storm. I hope I'm proven right soon... The forums have plenty of members and guests visiting these days, people are all waiting, perhaps they're unconsciously sensing it... 8)
