Behind the Cow: Why was Mr. Lincoln replaced by Fatman S.

Hello,

when BTC was first released at the Dome back in 2006/2004 the rap part was rapped by Mr. Lincoln. Why did they change them to Fatman Scoop on the single?

I'd assume Fatman Scoop was the original choice, but he didn't want to fly all the way to Germany for one song ;)

Fatman Scoop was more famous to collaborate with, and maybe Scooter thought this "famous" being would increase the succes of the single ;)
MC Lincoln was not only on The Dome, but also on an Apres Ski Hits show, so it seems initially he was "planned" as MC for this release, and later on he was changed for the famous Fatman ;)

I believe the song was from the start recorded with Fatman Scoop, but since it would have been more or less impossible and rather pointless to fly Scoop to Germany to say a few lines, they hired someone closer for a few performances.
 This is a signature.

As far as I remember FS also made both his videoclip part and rap part back in the USA and he's never personally met Scooter at least during the production of the song. Therefore Lincoln was more logical for The Dome. Besides, it could have been a bit a surprise for everyone that Lincoln was replaced by Fatman for the final release.
