I am just back from my travels so am just getting the opportunity to post.

Have a few points to make:
1. Thought Chris Avantgarde was fantastic, although for this stage his set was a little too long. Would happily go and see him again though
2. Die Atzen were even better than expected, was always looking like a short tracklist and think they picked the right ones to get everyone going
3. The intro was great, had expected more inferno (but after watching fire crews rush to the scene as the speaker/electrics going on fire at the front of the stage I wouldnt be surprised if some of it was cut out, which was a pity)
4. Loved all the medleys
5. In fact loved just about everything (except below)

Unfortunately a few things I wasnt happy with:
1. Why oh why play I'm raving?
2. HP made a few mistakes with lyrics/track lists
3. Why the "guest" appearances? Didnt make any difference to most people

The last thing I am unhappy with is the amount of criticism and abuse they are getting from "fans" (if you dont like their most successful mainstream songs, or the Maria chants etc just sit at home and listen to CDs)

It was on the whole a fantastic concert (best I have been to) and I cant wait to go to another one!

This was a huge consert.. really nice track-list.. I was surprised by some songs.. When Maria and J´adore Hardcore was performed that was massive.. the crowd really come to life under those tracks especially..

And during my walk at Kirchenallé the day before I did meet a lot of Happy Scooter-posse saying "See you tomorrow" and "SCOOTER!!!!!!"

I was at this concert and thought it ROCKED!!

This was my first Scooter concert, although it has been something I have been wanting to get to for years and years, and TSTI certainly did not disappoint

I was in Hamburg for a total of 5 days, and really enjoyed my time there

There was a guy who was a complete look-a-like for HP staying in our hotel!! I had to take a second glance after I saw him.

The whole organisation of the concert was great. We had to get the train from Haptbanoff (sp), as the line was closed from the station closest to our hotel, but our concert tickets allowed us to get free public transport, which was a nice surprise!! You certainly wouldnt get that in Northern Ireland.

Upon getting on the train to Stellingen, the atmosphere began. We got talking to 2 guys from Hamburg who showed us where to go etc (and were a great help!). Once on the train, I was greeted by the chant of 'Faster, Harder,.....' - fantastic

And as for the concert itself - well it certainly did not disappoint - fantastic atmosphere, great playlist, and I saw no trouble in the arena - which again you would not get in Northern Ireland - it would have most likely eneded in a riot over here!! The playlist certainly is different than what I expected, but in a good way. The only downer is that Friends (or Friends Turbo) was not played, but hey - you cant have everything!!

I'm looking forward to this coming out on DVD (which I'm sure it will, as the footage has already been shot!)

Defo a big smile on my face after TSTI

Exactly. I'm a fan since 1994. So, a "real" fan. And guess what... I don't like songs like Maria or One. It's enough for me when I hear these tunes on a concert. At home, both songs are rarely played.

I have not said much about my hamburg experience yet - guess was too tired when we got home, and back to work the next morning.
We had a very enjoyable trip - one of the best! :)
We arrived in Hamburg late on Friday afternoon, the hotel was about 2 minutes walk from the main station, so very convenient, also Liv-Runi was staying at the same hotel, so that was good :)
We went to the forum meeting on Friday evening - it was great to see so many fans in one place outside of a concert, and from so many different place; it was also great to meet Sabine, Kelly and Kerby from Berlin - they are great fun :) It was also great to see the "Scooter R U Ratty" banner walking round Hamburg. There were a lot of people that I have met before at various concerts over the years, but not in all in place. After meeting about 25 of us went to a bar for a coupl of hours -I really enjoyed the evening :) We decided not to join some of the others who decided to go to a club later, as we were tired from travelling and wanted a good nights sleep before the concert.
A couple of weeks before the concert I decide to buy VIP tickets for this concert - which meant it was a different experience to normal for me. We did not go to the stadium to queue early, but we arrived when it opened at 16:00. The seats we had were fantastic - we had an excellent view and got the full benefits of the effects, and the audo was perfect and not at all distorted. Because the VIP included an AAA pass we went backstage when the concert finished for a while.
Afterwards we met Dave and Almanac and got a taxi to the Reeperbahn were we met Daniel, Bjarke and Liv-Runi in a bar where we spent a very enjoyable few hours, and Will got to taste his first jagermeister. We left the bar at about 3:30 as we had to check out of the hotel the next morning.
After Checking out of the hotel on Sunday morning we did a tourist bus tour of hamburg, then had lunch and walked around for a while until it was time to go to the airport. We arrived home late Sunday evening after a fantastic weekend.
The concert was fantastic for me - I would say the best I have ever been to (and I have been to some good ones!). I thought the tracklist was very good, of course there were a lot of the "old favourites" there, but that was to be expected, I would imagine that a large proportion of those there only know the singles really well and would have been dissappointed if they had been missing. The instrumental was a highlight for me - and to hear Sunrise was something I could never have hoped for  ; Habanera was also increadible, and makes me beleive even more that they listen to fans :); all that and my favorite of FTM/Manana made this a perfect concert experience to. Also great to hear The Leading Horse live again :) I was in Scooter heaven for 140 minutes (or however long it was)   8o :D
This was without a doubt the most expensive concert I have ever been to, or will go to again - the VIP was a once in a lifetime luxury for us, and it could only really be worth the price in a venue like the stadium, but it was very special :) .... as was the whole weekend and the pleasure of meeting so many fans - some old friends, and some I have never met in person before :)
I can't wait now for the release of the concert - I hope its uncut but only time will tell with that, and as the album release is now later than we expected it would be nice to see it again before the autumn, but whenever it is I will really look forward to it - while I hope nothing is cut I REALLY hope the instrumental and Habanera are not cut - and these are pretty special, and part of what made this concert special and different :)

Great review Sandra. :)

I also really hope they do not cut anything from the concert when it comes to the DVD release. I am sure it is not too long to put on one disc in full and every track really added to the special occassion!

im raving is a scooter classic, wht not.
mistakes were bound to happen, it was a big show and live.
and the guests were to make the live experience better

i agree, scooter play what the fans want, but without the classics the shows will feel a little empty, i really missed weekend! as this is one of my faves, also posse,
but again you cant repeast to much tracks.

Great review Sandra.
