now that is nice!
If a DVD/Blu-Ray is released after the inferno I'm sure that this will be some extra content.

I just don't think that many people buy a 16€ ticket to see a Scooter concert in theaters.
And since a live broadcast from the inferno to different cinemas is very expensive (I think) it could be even worse, when only around 20 guys attend each cinema that night. I really hope Scooter know what they're doing... :S

How about we meet in the main hall of the Hauptbahnhof in Hamburg, and then go somewhere from there?

updates sales figures for TSTI: around 14000 (+/- 500)

So it seems the chances for a fully loaded 25.000 people stadium are very little now.

14.000 = huge disappointment

1,045

Tuesday, June 14th 2011, 10:09pm

 Too bad... Well, of course 14000 is a huge number of people, and this will probably be the biggest Scooter show up to date, but nevertheless it's bad news if ten thousand tickets are still unsold. I hope it pays the show's budget, but I'm not sure it will. Or alternatively we'll get a lowered-budget show... Hope not! And I hope it won't be too big a disappointment to Scooter, I hope they'll still be happy and energetic to run the show.

I don't know from who he got the figures, but I trust TFD that his source is a good one ;)

i was gonna say the same thing,
where is his source, but i too trust it, he has always been right before

and it is a big disappointment for the sales, if it is gonna be recorded, its gonna look bad, a half empty stadium

shame i thought they would have done it, look at the UTROTT tour, in all 40.000 fans in all the german venues, so it was a possible sellout, but why so low,

11 days to go, and only 14.000

surely they wont sell 10.000 on the day

but why so low

Why ?
Because such an event should be done after the release of well-promoted album, and not after the release of unsuccessful singles.
How they want to attract people for this concert? They had just finished two tours in a row, except two poor singles they do not have nothing new to show.
What's wrong with you ?

Well said. Although I think TOO is a great single, but FT and SOR before that -- if I weren't a fan of the band already I surely wouldn't have come to this show after hearing those two songs. :D Generally the promotion and all such is lacking for this show. There's been an advert ages ago, has anyone seen it on tv? There's at least one large poster in Hamburg (or Berlin, can't remember), but haven't heard about much more... Well, I hope they'll play a radically different tracklist, including some stuff that's never played before, or not in ages, and some more new stuff from the new album.

@Keyser Soze: Damn... :S Well, biggest one in Germany, then?

What a dissapointment, if only around 15.000 people is coming. I thought we would have a sold out concert. It seems like scooter has lost something lately. Concerts cancelled, bad sales and now a half empty stadium in hamburg. It really bothers me :(

That's a good point as well... For a band like this it's really well. But keep in mind that Pendulum and the Prodigy tour extensively and pack stadiums wherever they go, from city to city. This is this year's only full-length Scooter show... Granted, the styles are different and all that, but Pendulum and the Prodigy are electronic music too. I still think that this concert should have gathered far more people without it being a theoretical impossibility -- and Scooter themselves probably estimated it to, since they began to organize this event.

I still think that this concert should have gathered far more people without it being a theoretical impossibility -- and Scooter themselves probably estimated it to, since they began to organize this event.

I think after the sold out show in Hamburg 2010 + the succesfull rest of the UTROTT tour, they were confident that they can mobilize enough people to come to a one off concert in 2011. I even a year ago thought it would be possible, because when only 2 venues of the UTROTT tour came to Hamburg 2011, it would be already stuffed to the max. So that's why also Scooter thought it was possible.
But anyhow, it's still a 15.000+ concert, so for Scooter it will be the biggest gig yet in Germany, but well, economically I don't know how it will be for them when around 10.000 tickets would be unsold, that's the biggest problem for them. Because showwise it will definately work very well in the stadium, and on the DVD / Live report, the camera's will record all the way like if the stadium is fully loaded. For example the open-air in Berlin wasn't sold out, and yet the gig was great, and the DVD looked like a sold out concert ;)

and thats the massive crowd in front of every scooter gig.

we had surely countet 20.000 people at this Concert but sch--- drauf

14.000 is sad because we have so many really nice stadions around the world that can scooter fill up...

We must remember that TSTI tickets are on sale for over a year, and yet they have sold slightly more than half.
In that case, it is a very big disappointment.
Some time ago I was sure that all tickets will be sold, but on the other hand - with such poor promotion these results are not so bad ...
And one more thing: it will be raining for sure !!!
Weather forecasts are very bad for the whole week - I hope that the organizers will do something about that - a temporary roof or something...
What's wrong with you ?

I don`t know but i go to Hamburg to see the greatest scooter show ever! and not the scooter show with the most fans ... I want see scooter with 14`000 real fans and not scooter with 25`000 sensless-drunken-people. And 14`000 is very much.

The only problem for Scooter is:
Inferno costs 1`000`000 Euro (Bild)
ca. 15`000 x 45 euro = 675`000 Euro

= - 325`000 Euro

But i don`t think scooter made a low budget show now.... This is not a gig to made money ... it`s a gig to made 14`000 fans very very happy ;)

Where has the 14,000 figure come from? The flying Dutchman said on post 855 on this topic (16th April) that his source said 10,000 tickets were remaining and 20,000 had been sold?
