I'd very much like to hear the full intro... maybe they got the rights to it. They did sample Tiesto in the JAOTW tour intro...

Kimi80, I don't think there is any way to contact them so that they would really read what you write... Maybe some of the guys is following our discussions here but I'm afraid it does not make any difference... :S

The intro was beautiful. But, it was made by Jarre, not Scooter... So there can be problems in releasing... I hope not, but let's see. If they would make their music by themselves and at least do this "borrowing" in more sophisticated way maybe they would get permission to use the borrowed music more easily.

And should they've not played that version of WTB just because they knew they wouldn't be able to release it commercially?
No. They shouldn't have played it.

The most infuriating thing about this is H.P's absolute neglect to actually bother to inform fans that this new version of Where The Beats... could not be released from the beginning. The fact that they deliberated not to mention it immediately upon announcing the track proves how little they cared about people getting their hopes up for a chance to buy this track to re-live what was quite clearly an epic piece. Instead, he allowed it go unabated, only to mysteriously proclaim randomly at the Essen concert, which was after Hamburg (was it not?), that they lack the permission to distribute it. Why, T!M? Why? What sense does that make? It sounds so damn inconsiderately clumsy that it's actually hard to believe.

I think what frustrates me most now is that I've had a taste of what this new version sounded like thanks to a few who recorded the track on their mobile phones, and there are quite a fair few of them that are clear enough to get an idea of what it sounded like. Of course, it'll never match up to the feeling of actually being there in that awesome atmosphere, nor will it match up to this track in high quality... Thing is, those of us that couldn't get to any of them now have access to a track that we'll never be able to experience in its entirety with acceptable quality. That sucks! How is it that fair? It also happens to sound like the best one there, which only exacerbates my annoyance.

This doesn't mean I'm going to back out of buying the product. It's still almost the entire concert full of spectacular performances, so that's not an issue for me anymore. It is, however, disingenuous to say that this DVD/Blu-ray is being released uncut, as that's just not true.

Jay's suggestion of uploading the track free of charge onto Youtube would be permissible. Their not profiting from it, so what would be the problem? We'll then be able to simply convert it into an MP3 file for our enjoyment and add it to the tracklist manually.

I still don't see why they shouldn't have played it. They loved this version and wanted to play it live. Where's the problem with that. It's nothing uncommon to play exlusive live tracks that aren't released in any other way. And why "mysteriously proclaim it"? He said that this would be the last time that one could hear WTB in that version, because they're not allowed to release it that way. Where's the mysterious thing about that? He could also have said nothing at all.

And who said that this DVD/BluRay is being released uncut? Neither heard I say it so anywhere in the press, nor did I say that. The only thing I said was, that this is the closest to an uncut concert it could get and that's what I'm happy about.

I also couldn't attend one of the concerts, but it's okay that they don't release it anywhere else, simply because they can't. We know the reason why. But I don't have anything against it, releasing the song as a free track on Youtube. If it's allowed, why not?

But it wasn't the last time they played it, it was also performed at Leipzig without any mention of prohibition in regards to its release afterward. Hence why hopes were again raised when people returned from that concert believing that there was a chance that this would make the cut. So, I ask again, why only announce this at Essen? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It would have been sensible to of, oh, I don't know, mentioned this before people became attached to it perhaps? I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything, but it would have prevented a great deal of hope and speculation in the process.

The DVD cannot be released uncut if there are some copyright problems.

Okay, I didn't have the touring schedule in mind and has he apparently said that it would be "the last time" I thought it was really the last show of the tour. That's why I never had any hope that it could make the cut. I can't tell you why he only said it in Essen. Of course it would've been smarter to say something like that also at the last show of the tour in order to avoid further speculation.

As for the "uncut" thing: Sorry, I already forgot that it was described there as uncut. So yea, you're absolutely right. Of course it's wrong and disingenuous.

But I guess the free track thing would be the best solution for everyone. The fans would be able to get the track and the band wouldn't get in trouble. But I somehow doubt that we'll hear anything from them about that. The only chance I see in getting a statement to that is to ask them in person. I don't know if there are any upcoming shows or signing sessions, but it would be great if someone could ask one of the three about that.

Nope there wasn't. And tracklisting that's on the official site every other tracks included. It's just WTB that's missing.

Why do some people think SOR will be different to what was played in Hamburg - its already on YouTube as a an "Official Preview"

I don't know what tracks will be cut on the CD, but I would guess the CD tracklist will be published soon

My comment was sarcasm. ;) The other tracks will be released, yes.

I will say only this:
Personally, I'm hugely disappointed because WTB... is not included! :cursing:  ;(
I don't know who's fault is that and I don't care...it's stupid to have Nessaja on every single DVD and not to have such a wonderful song like WTB... is.

Damn, this ruind my day.

The case is:
AGAIN, overplayed singles like Maria, One and Nessaja.
AGAIN, favouring stuff like JAOTW and JTR, which have been played alot already, over much greater stuff like WTB... and SOM.

It's only the disappointment. Disappointment, because they ALWAYS have to use the overplayed singles. And ALWAYS changing something within the great tracks, so they become unable to release them, even on live dvd's...

If this keeps up, I think I'll lose my interest in Scooter... cheap ripped music, and once again, changing tracks by replacing a known melody with a well-known, making themselves unable to release it...
I'm getting more and more annoyed and angry on this "band".
" Brilliant! ...I have absolutely no idea what's going on... "
