Please no concept-album. Tekstyle might be interesting but two or three tracks in the same style are enough...

I must say the concept albums make the album sound more tight together like a whole package. That's the cool thing IMO about that sort of albums ;)

But I still love the experimental albums of Scooter, where the style of every track is in a way a surprise ;) But that albums are more like a sort of compilations, this concept albums are more a framed work. ;)

Oh that´s just ONE way to judge this. You see the problems of concept-albums in some tracks from the last two albums. I got the feeling the guys had good ideas for 6 or 7 tracks, but then they had to do 5 more to finish the album – and these tracks like “See your smile” have been totally uninspired. Every track another style can go wrong terribly, that´s right: Scooter didn´t like their album “Sheffield” although it´s got great tracks on it (in my opinion). But it just didn´t feel like an album. “No time to chill” did, despite of many styles. “Wicked” too. They should do what they want with every new track and not force themselves to stay in one certain style. Combination of Trance and (Happy) Hardcore is what Scooter really is about. They shouldn´t say now “Let´s do 12 tekstyle tracks.” They should release all their creative power but follow a certain spirit. Something like “should sound like the energy of wind and water” – that´s how “Wicked” sounds (to me). Or “should sound like coolness and twinkling steel” – that´s how “No time to chill” feels for me. Ok, that´s all just referring to my personal feelings, but I just wouldn´t be happy about a concept-album because it would enchain their power. So, Scooter, “The Force unleashed” as a title for the next work? ;)

Yeah, that's totally right, and that's indeed the big downside of concept albums ;)

I say once they know they're out of ideas for one style, they change style or do some tracks in their classic style

Well, in a way, when they run out of ideas we get another TUAO or Sheffield...so in that case I hope they run out of ideas and as a result will create a similar masterpiece like TUAO was :D ....
It seems that when they run out of ideas, the best tracks are born 8) :D ;)

I really think Sheffield and TUAO are masterpeices, they're not classic Scooter style, and they are the least mainstream, but IMO some of the best music.

i dont think they will follow a style this time around, they tried for second time with UTROTT, but failed, although it has got some good tracks and i can see what the insperation was, but scooter wont do another TUAO i dont think

but at this point i dont think UTROTT was completly hardstyle to me, ti sento was more trance/jump like im lonely, BOBB was more like a dance track to me, with hint of hardstyle, TSAMH, was a trance, second skin was new wave, so it was really half and half.

if scooter do follow a style they will look to improve on what is needed

They should produce something "hard". Hardstyle isn´t really hard when it comes out like "See you smile" or "Stuck on replay". Then Hardstyle is just a word, meaning the´re using some special sounds and elements. BTTHJ was really hard. "F*** the Millennium", "Well Done, Peter", "Watch Out" and other masterpieces represented the harder face of Scooter. Everyone´s talking ´bout "Crank it up" all the time (or the great "Dutch Christmas") but hey, this is Scooter and not Thunderdome - I don´t want it THAT hard ´cause there´s too little Scooter in it (melodies, trance, softer sounds) but the next Album should sound harder without following a certain path to any new style. But the next single(s) should be some kind of shocking, not too sweet like "No matches", "I´m lonely" etc. etc. - people shall say "Wow! What´s this?" Scooter for adults, not for teens. "Maria" once did so, "Faster Harder Scooter" and "F*** the Millennium" too. I´m hungry for a really hard and energetic masterpiece and I know they know how to produce it. But will they?....

i hope so, bring back the heavyweight jams

i personaly think scooter have gone trough a happy phase with JAOTW and UTROTT, just as the fans wanted, so maybe time to go back to some more trance based music

I'd love to see a return of something like that as well. Good old Scooter tracks from Mind the Gap era

I hope they won't follow one ceartain style for differet reasons.
1. The danger of ripping/lack of an own style - UTROTT sounded a bit like a hardstyle compilation re-interpreted by Scooter. Take HP's shouting out of the tracks and it will sound a lot like a compilation. Former tracks like "How much is the fish?", "Weekend" or "FasterHarderScooter" didn't fit into a special genre, they had elements from different genres like techno, dance or trance, but they were Scooter's own style. So bring back this unique style.
2. The problem that everything sounds similar - Scooter used very similar sounds throughout the last two albums, so mosdt of the tracks sound similar especially if they contain a hpv or another sung chorus. Effects and elements from different styles/genres and original self-created sounds would provide more diversity.
3. The problem that one style/genre doesn't fit to all kind of tracks - "State of Mind" would probably have been better as a trance track, "Where the beats...." as a dance track.
So IMO the next album shouldn't be a one-genre-album, it should contain stuff from different styles and more original Scooter-stuff.
The tracks can be put together by a common spirit/atmosphere (like the dark and hard atmopshere on BTTHJ or the stadium atmopshere on TSTE), but the shouldn't be pressed into a certain style.

I don't even know what I want. But something like WBTN or TSTE would be just great. It's interesting to think what they'll do next; every album is unlike another. I hope there'll be some genres they have never tried (yeah, I never get tired of saying I want a good big beat track).
 This is a signature.

When they plan to do singles, I would prefer them to do their regular club mixes(Ti Sento, TSAMH) and full extended mixes(Stuck on Replay).

I'd also like some more remixes by other artists (hearing an ATB or Michael Mind remix of a Scooter track would be really wicked :D)

I wouldn't mind that at all, but as long as they have room for the full/extended mixes.

Yes, exactly. A nice, 10 track release. Original, Radio edit, 4 remixes, and 4 remix edits, like Darius & Finlay did for Destination.
