As long as I get one techno-rock track, or a track with a similar vibe, I'm pleased![]()
Even if I'd be all for it if they suddenly decided to make a jazz album, it might not turn out good; jazz is years of pratice, it's a lifestyle. Not something one can tune into all of a sudden. (And yes I know you were probably joking and not totally serious, but I still had to say that.) However, sampling jazz sounds and instruments would be pretty cool to hear. As I've said before too, I'd like to hear them using more real instruments here and there. Anyway, as someone suggested, ethnic chants would be cool to hear as well -- I like tracks with African tribal singing mixed with a hard beat. And this reminds me of what Rick said in that interview, how he sometimes wants just pure rhythm -- I wish we got some tracks like that!
