I don't say Ti Sento's bad - charts say it. You can like the video and the single, or not - it's up to you, but the charts clearly reflect people's pure interest in this single. As for the song, it has some light spots like HP's lyrics , bassline and some sound effects. But the chorus is not inspiring and it takes half a song-time that makes the song boring. I really like the first minute of Ti Sento, but when the chorus starts I'm falling asleep, right off.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

I've always felt the Ti Sento chorus to be a repetitiously protracted noise. It has this fantastic adrenaline pumping build up that's met with a totally unsatisfactory and anti-climatic bit of opera singing. Quite the contrast, if you ask me. Still think the c-part is exciting though; same with the beginning. Couldn't care one iota about the strangely elaborate video. Generally never have been interested in any of them and it has no bearing whatsoever on the quality of the track. Saying that, I never thought it was particuarly special anyway... Guess I'm a minority in that respect.

But I don't know why, they decided to release TSAMH

maybe it was because everyone wanted it to the next single, everyone loved it when we all first herd it.

they didn't release SOM

i too would have liked it to be a single, it my favourite track on the album and one of my personal favs

And then releasing Stuck On Replay, the worst single ever

i wouldnt say worse, it has bags of energy, but i agree that the hpv is the worst part of the song, with a little extra work this could have miles better

The only positive thing about Stuck on Replay is the club mix. The radio edit is really bad.

agree, the club is fantastic, expesally the poem part and the extra synthes

Quoted All the UTROTT singles failed in the charts and no wonder why it happened.
Ti Sento is Scooters 23rd top ten hit and J'adore Harcore nearly became another top ten hit, too

also agree on both parts, as dicussed before, i too blame the release times of these singles, if timed right they could have been better charted, and i too beleive ti sento would have doen better if it wernt released the same day as the album was, but depite that it still climbed.

Still think the c-part is exciting though

on ti sento it like it much, when i first herd it i didnt like it but know i do

The album version sounded completed and , imo, It was a big mistake to remove that In my house part.

A quick dig through this sub-forum reveals that Where The Beats... and State Of Mind were actually the favourites at the time of the albums release. 'The Sound Above My Hair' was obviously recognized to be fine just the way it was. Keep in mind that these polls weren't conducted to ascertain which track the community wanted to be edited for a single either; they were simply evaluating which track from the album left the biggest impression. Even before that, the teaser demonstrated how magnificent and transcendental the piece was with that unforgettable scene with Michael and H.P. jumping in concert -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOg59Tmzwdg -- One of my most fondest memories of anticipating its release. More to the point, the track was absolutely fine in its original state. Speeding it up, cutting bits out, and adding a few more lyrics (barely), was a mistake of epic proportions.

Edit: Oh, and the bagpipes? Ewww.

Really? It's always been a blast to me.

Just have to cover my ears for the chorus. :D

Same here, it's exactly what I think about it.
That's what I hate in tracks with female vocals or HPV. There are too much of them in each track. But if Scooter made songs with powerful female vocals and not as slow stuff as Ti Sento or Like Hypa Said, I'd be happy.
Feel the energy inside!

They could have edited TSAMH a little bit, by adding HP shouts after the "in my house" part ended, and elsewhere during the instrumental parts.
Or simply just made a single with little HP.

i love the album version of TSAMH better than the single, also to me as good as the single was, i still prefer the album version, to me, it makes a fine album track

Sorry to get a bit off topic here, but I didn't think it was worth creating a new thread over. I am curious about the fake "Stuff The Turkey" song. I'm not saying it's real. But at the 0:23 mark I believe H.P says "The power to the stage".

I dunno about anyone else but I can't recall hearing that line in any other Scooter song... Unless they are single words all pushed together?

Stuff The Turkey has some new rhymes made by rearranging HP vocals, taking bits from here and there. They do sound real, it's well done.

Thanx :)
By the way, if Scooter will release a new compilation like RATAD, I think it's a nice title for it - "Hall Of Fame" :) Also the idea with Scooter gallery is good for it too.

I've recently become addicted to the "Lento Violento" style. Maybe Scooter could do a track like this, would sound great with H.P. MCing over it!

Scooter should rip samples of 80th Disco style. That Disco tunes sound sophisticated and they really fit to techno music.
