Not buying it.

scooter could well have been having ideas of hardstyle back then

JAOTW was over a year apart from their hardstyle album, UTROTT.

To suggest that they plan ahead that far is just as unlikely as it is pure fantasy.

I perplex everything? If that's your opinion, I respect it :)

I didn't want to offend anyone so I'm sorry if I did. But I don't think HP's so eager to puzzle us all the time

agree with traxx, scooter could well have been having ideas of hardstyle back then

JAOTW is not a real jumstyle album, it's both - jumpstyle drums played with the hardstyle bass and vice versa. UTROTT is just a result of effortless process.

Ed posted a link in another topic from LUT club tour where the guys introduced parts from future tracks on their show.

HP just experienced with new lyrics as he always does in order to know whether the crowd would like it or not. While in Kiev in 2004, he screamed some lyrics from One Always hardcore, the same story can be told about Hello (GTBB) lyrics.

if you would like me to use another word meaning the same thing i could, but it would still mean the same thing. i think that deconstructing a song to its very (what you think is) soul is stupid as you have no idea what inspired them to do it. but just like everything on that album, it was probably just off a sample CD, its not difficult- youre just looking for conversation in the most childish of ways. Its not clever, in fact, its what i originally called it, stupid.
Sigh... whatever.

If you had read what I wrote, which it seems you didn't, I was not desperately searching Scooter tracks for hidden messages.
Nor do I say that I blindly believe it to be a hidden message.

I simply got to think about it, and found it interesting that they used that lyric in one of the songs on JAOTW; when the following album was made in exactly that style that the 1 word from those lyrics resembled.
It's that simple.

I've said my reason for mentioning it, and repeated it several times. But if you wanna believe something else, fine with me.

well there is a new albumdue next year in march or spring,

regerding the forum, although i have never met anyone here in person, i do feel i may havemade a few online friends, this is by far the best forum i been on for friendly people,

also i like the linksbetween singles, TQIWITQ and ANM kinda has pun, and if we had the album before ANM release, then i recon most of us would have assumed that ANM would have been the next single, just like with MILIL and TN.

but remember when TSAMH was released and hp said in the song i wanna SEE YOU SMILE, some here including me thought that SYS was gonna be the next single

Maybe it was meant to be the next single. It's not the first time a track was planned as single, and than suddenly there was decided to release another track. If I remember correctly it was the case with "Stripped" and even with "The Sh*t That Killed Elvis" (About TSTKE HP even said that it might become a feat. single). So back in 2009, when TSAMH was released, maybe there was a plan for an "in between" single SYS. I remember HP said he really liked the track, and considered the rhymes great in that one, so I wouldn't be surprised if they therefor considered to release SYS ;)

As far as I'm concerned, neither 'See Your Smile' nor 'The Sound Above My Hair' had an ounce of single potential. It was evident from a few short weeks after the latter release that this track was unnecessarily tampered with; proving to be a very a poor decision on their part indeed. But one thing both pieces shared in common was their above average forms in their original states. 'See Your Smile' is actually one of my most revered tracks from the album-- with its catchy chorus and its 'Everlasting Love'-like vibe, I still enjoy it immensely. And 'The Sound Above My Hair' was a beautifully produced experimental piece with the most memorable element being the 'in my house' sample. Of course, this was subsequently eliminated for the single version of the track.

And in regards to 'See Your Smile', it was beautiful enough it in its original form as to make the notion of a single release a disservice to the piece. At the very least it could have been shortened a bit; but it's been made clear over the years that people prefer single edits to be a little different from its ancestor (Paradoxically, TSAMH shows this isn't always a good thing). But I digress....

I still think some of you have the propensity to see things or interpret things to which most of us don't see or just take at face value. The lyric that you're referring to in 'The Sound Above My Hair' is "see you smile" not 'See Your Smile' for one thing. I can see how something like that would supply the Indiana Jones types with something to back up your hunt for secret messages. Personally, I think I'll just proceed to listen to the music rather than attempt to examine everything with the impression that something subtle is convoluted in the verses. :P

All the UTROTT singles failed in the charts and no wonder why it happened. Scooter chose the wrong tracks to single. If they had released SOM as a single it would have reached the top in some charts. State of Mind's chorus is fameless to most of the audience as well as the main melody by Technoboy that's why it would have been so popular. But I don't know why, they decided to release TSAMH that sounds like a parody :(

Yes, the singles were disasters... I'm still "angry" that they didn't release SOM. And as pointed out, The Sound Above My Hair is much better in its album form. (This is the objective truth. :D) It's experimental and cool, but the single edition loses all that and is just forgettable. And then releasing Stuck On Replay, the worst single ever... I still wake up at night, screaming.
 This is a signature.

The only positive thing about Stuck on Replay is the club mix. The radio edit is really bad.

Ti Sento is Scooters 23rd top ten hit and J'adore Harcore nearly became another top ten hit, too

As far as I remember Ti Sento barely achieved the ten position on the first week of the sale and then it went down very quickly. :S

For me, only the HPV is bad in the edit of SOR.
I'd love it if it wasn't for the HPV. And, of course, the short, almost un-edited single.

That's a subjective point. I understand you like SOM very much, but you don't know if it would have worked well as single. I, personally loved WTB and wanted it a single, but there wouldn't be any guaranteed succes for it. We can make many suppositions and say what would have been the best way after something already went south.
And be serious! You can't say Ti Sento is a bad single. Only looking at the video and it deserves its single condition...
