yeah hopefully, i dont mind ripps and samples or even cover, i prefer covers as some how they seem more respectable
samples often work well in scooters part, many great hits and favs came from scooters sampling, bit i hate the recent songs they sampled to new and well known, older samples from 70s are better to me, and if they ripp at least not the more recent and new songs

cant wait, i hope these interviews are soon we may finally get confermation,
i wonder if this news in the austrian paper is maybe one of the interviews scooter mentioned on there site, it seems a bit much for a paper to mention new album in march 2011

Nice fake, by the way ;)

Waiting for music releases has become something I'm used to. In all honesty, I'm ready to wait till March. Maybe we'll get a single earlier on, but if we need to wait till March to get another wicked amazing album, then we shall wait! Quality > Quantity

I think right now, the guys should have a rough scope of the new album. Each day in the studio working on new tracks, getting inspiration, et cetera. I'd love to hear varied styles, and I'm even more excited than before

An alternative would be the tracks of famous video games:
for example, final fantasy 7 tracks( many of these are very incredibles and suggestive!)

What do you think?

Everything can be - Scooter loves to make such experimental works (Like Whistling Dave, Clic Clac) :D

I certainly hope so... But they worked a long time on UTROTT too... :S It would be great if they had read us and are not sampling and borrowing so much, since they certainly can make up stuff.

Yeah, I was wondering too whether this newspaper bit is one of those promised interviews. But it sounds like it's just a smaller article because of the show in Vienna, to remind people about it.

The most important is that we now know that we will get the album in 2011, that's already some excellent news. And this could really mean that we might get to hear the first single from that album on the "Stuff The Turkey" tour in december

Indeed! I hope we'll get a new single soon! Maybe next month? Anyway, the Waiting has moved to the next level, the kind in which some sort of time is known. I hope they'll make a damn good album to play songs of on TSTI.

i think we can proberly establise that the new album may now be called the stadium techno inferno, as we know it is only one event, so looking at it now i would say no this aint gonna be the new albums name, but by the time march comes along we may have more dates added, even if hey are only small venues, why would scooter ruin a chance to filla stadium now by adding more sutible dates for other fans that have to travel, clearly people will travel to hamburg now as it is the only event,
even if this is the only venue for this event, a kinda mini tour could spiral out of this event like it always does,
eg, the UTROTT tour was only originaly the ones stated on the album, but s you can see, lots of events have come alnong since and all form part of the tour as well as a kinda part 2 (stuff the turkey), this could also happen next year, which leads me to think that the new album will be called the staduim techno inferno, and before you say it doesnt matter if it sounds the same as TSTE as many artists have similar albums with same names, eg, meat loaf, guns n roses, so why not scooter, some artists use only there name so scooter could release an album just called scooter if they wanted to,

now assuming we get this album march 2011 has now ruled out that we are not gonna here any new tracks at clubland ,and maybe stuff the turkey
but looking at scooters history i think it will kinda pan out like this

before i start i would like to remind you that
ATBGO, OHH, AOL, MTG, JAOTW and UTROTT have all released 2 singles before the albums release

so i think it might go like this
1-1st single out nov/dec 2010 ready for the stuff the turkey
1.2- however scooter may have choen to wait till 2011 after stuff the turkey to kinda close the UTROTT ere
2-1st/2nd single out about jan/feb/march before the album to act as a lead single andpromo for the new album
2.2-album out march 2011
3-2nd/3rd single out out may/june before TSTI to act as promo for both the hamburg event/tour and the latest album

as we know since JAOTW scooter have had this quick release thing going on release 4-5 singles from an album, so this is how i think it will go
but we will see

anyhow it is kinda good to finally here some actuall good news about the new album, i would have liked to here it sooner, but i kinda prefer the wait, why release fast now when scooter still have some big shows to do and why enter the charts at xmas time, we all know how bad that gets, about 20 old time xmas hits enter the charts and spoil any chance of success, and by the time they leave the sinles already get old and have no chance of rising to the top
waiting till next year sounds like a good plan, i only hope if scooter have followed a trend again that by the time march comes along the trend dony lose it popularity, cause if it does the album will fail for sure

Good thinking. I don't think there will be other dates along with TSTI, it has been said TSTI will be the only date in Germany next year, the only Scooter show on German soil. That's what makes it more special: if you want to see Scooter, be there. Here's a quote:

Quoted

Scooter werden ihr einziges Deutschlandkonzert im Jahr 2011 - und ihr größtes Konzert überhaupt - am 25. Juni 2011 in ihrer Heimatstadt geben: und zwar als erste Hamburger Band in der Imtech Arena!

Link to the page saying that can be found in the news item on the official site called 'Scooter Tour'. The point is to get the fans to Imtech, and it won't happen if they do a 10 city tour afterwards.

As for the name of the album -- yeah, it's a good point that now when the album's release is scheduled three months from the event, it might be called TSTI too. I like that name, and wouldn't mind it anymore, as I've in the past done because of there already being a "The Stadium Techno" in a title. It sounds cool. It's a nice resemblace to TSTE, let's just hope the actual music will match the quality of TSTE! They have made some of their most popular stuff around TSTE times, let's hope they're focusing on the new one with a similar approach that produced such great tracks. :) The more I think it, the more I would like it to be TSTI, it's the sort of crazy decision Scooter might do.

I hope this time the single schedule is timed better with the second single. Said single should not come a week before the album, that's too soon. One or two months before would give people time to hear it and anticipate the new album the way a single should. I hope they've learned this now... I think there'll be a new single this year, maybe November or December. And I hope for a new single in January or February (depending on the first single; if it's Nov, then Jan, if it's Dec, then Feb).

I too wanted to have (as always) the album sooner than later, but now when we're in the waiting phase with a release date, it's not so bad anymore. I have plenty of other albums to keep me busy meanwhile, and Scooter's album is like a shining beacon in the future. :D And it's a good thing to see they're taking their time. That could mean they're really going to make something big and wanting to do it good.

Interesting point about the trend surfing -- if they're following a trend started a few months ago or earlier, it's possible or maybe even likely that it's going to be over by the time they get their album out. I'm sure they know this. That's why I'm thinking two possibilities, that they either just like the style and don't care whether it's still a trend or not, or they have something that is not a trend at all, a new style (or resurrecting something).

Yeah, TSTI now sounds like a good album name.
Or, if they want to distance it a bit more from TSTE, what about just Inferno ?

Good point Acid ;) But it can be that Scooter are following some trend from the so called "underground" and that trends take a while to get mainstream so to speak..... but as you say, it might be they willl resurrect a style....but on the other hand, they said that the style was new to them and they had to get used to the style....so this can only mean that it will be a new style, or an old style they previously never used ;)
