preparing the tour could have something to do with the UTROTT XMAS tour, the one from now till then are like gigs, they litraly have to just show up, set the keyboards up and thats it, the UTROTT XMAS tour is different, they have to prepare the set list, guests, the stage, roadcrew by them selfs, so i think it is that

and we all know that scooter are working on the new album, it is still very fussy at this time, so time will only tell, hp said we have till wiat till autumn, so maybe after the holidays we may here some news,

an i too think november is about right for a new single by looking at the current facts,

Probably in interview to Slovak radio H.P. So has joked ??? I can tell, that is not funny !!!!. Really they have stopped work on a new album? I am really upset. I can not understand, in the message it is spoken, that they will return to studio after summer holidays what to prepare for us for tour. I do not understand... may have in mind a new album and not a tour?

It's hard to understand correct this message... I think mat be they will work hard on new album in studio. What does it mean - "prepare tour"?)))) They done a lot of concerts before withoun any special preparings, and now they need time?))) It's not clever :)

The are a few things to consider, firstly the information was posted by the webmaster not scooter so it may not be entirely correct. Secondly scooter may be working on both and that same time. Or most likely scooter know exactly what they are doing and are going to suprise us sometime.

Indeed. Like I said too, this was a post by the webmaster, I don't think he/she is fully informed about things (and often not in time, considering how late the site is usually updated) -- I'm pretty sure HP wasn't joking about the album work, nor have they stopped working on it (that's ridiculous!). If they have, right now, decided to take a few weeks of vacation, nothing wrong with that, they deserve it, it's understandable they want to spend some time with their families. And anyway, if the news update (and since they are not written by Scooter, as said, I wouldn't trust them so much -- even slight difference in wording makes a big difference, if Scooter tells them to write something and they write it but not word to word) doesn't mention album, it doesn't mean anything: they don't have to mention the album to be working on it. I rather trust HP's own words that they have worked on the album for a few weeks now and likely some tracks will be finished in autumn. They can, and for all I can see, will, work on both the new album and preparing the tour (whatever that means -- cool new versions of old tracks?). I just think the webmaster doesn't know the whole thing, and pays too much attention to the tour aspect.

One thing is sure: they already started the work for the new album and this "going back to the studio to prepare the tour" could be that they wanna change the playlist a little bit by switching a few tracks, 2-3, to come up with something slightlly changed for the Xmas tour. And some news about the new album...i suppose we will have them in oct/nov and a release date in spring. Somehow after seeing all those gigs announced on the main site and their actual holydays, i'm happy and pleased because the new stuff wiil be released in 2011 and nothing in 2010. Some of the forum members might disagree with me but since i know myself, i'm one of those who is able to wait longer for something better, no need to have rushed releases. And i know Ed mentioned that in Scooter's case the album quality has nothing to do with the time interval in wich is produced but...let's don't forget that they released an album in 2001, than in 2002 - nothing and the comeback in 2003 with TSTE was huge :!:

I actually hope for the album to come out next year and for us to hear a single, as a preview of what they choose to adopt as their new sound :) I want them to really take their time, and master this album really well. This one sounds like it will be pretty massive ;)

Yes, I would love to have a new album this year too. But if that's not happening (I don't outrule it, myself), I'd like a single the very least.

Although I would like a new album this year. I would prefer the new album to be next year because then I would want it more if you know what I mean and hopefully other fans will be a bit the same. A sort of craving for new scooter songs ;) I know that doesn't really make much sense but oh well.

We shouldn't expect the album coming out this year, for sure. As HP said they hadn't finished any track yet. But the most important thing is the fact that the guys know exactly what they do - there will be no hard, no jump.

P/S I'm very optimistic about the new album and I believe it'll blow my mind and at the time I cnange my life to a life of Wow!:D

scooter are working on a new styled album, no actual news is known as of yet, but more will follow in autumn,
as for the whole tour think, it is about the xmas tour, the gigs are litraly where scooter have to show up, but the xmas tour is a scooter tour so lots of preparing is needed,
i too think scooter will release a single before the xmas tour, it looks plausable to see the album release next year, maybe about march, with a lead single to be released in febuary, making 2 singles to that point, but that my view, i was just looking at how scooter have been working the last frw years and this looks like the way it could go.

dont you just love it when scooter keep us guesing,
my favoutite thing on this forum is when we all talk about the new album and stuff like that
my worst is when nothing is going on, and we are eagaly await something

I think that around november one of the first singles of the new album should be ready, well, ready enough to atleast play it live on tour before releasing it like in January 2011 ;)
