''Move Your Ass Hardstyle Version'' as new b-side??

At the end of the concerts they played move your ass in a hardstyle version. It sounds fresh and for me it was one of the highlights of the show. The whole crowd went crazy

Is it maybe an idea to release this version as b-side on the new single? Scarborough reloaded and lucullus were also masterpieces.

The new B-side is called P.U.C.K., so Move Your Ass isn't the new B-side :P

OMG!! What is it with people in here? First WTB & now MYA. Everytime Scooter do something new for the tour. Then immediately people think it will be the next single or a new b-side...

A few members on here seem adamant that a DVD release is imminent. I still think it's mere speculation, but I'd imagine this reworked track would have a place on the expected hypothetical DVD product if it were ever officially announced. And yes, I think that routes more likely than the option that you're pertaining to. I'm guessing their style will switch when it comes to the next album, with the hardstyle genre/theme being left behind, and the single being more inline with the nature of the upcoming album-- making this track somewhat out of place.

What concert did you attend SCOOTERFAN_NL? Did you personally hear anything about a possible DVD?

I was reading a few of the threads that were dedicated to reviewing the 'Excess All Areas' DVD on the forum in the summer of 2006, and if a DVD release is indeed in the works, I foresee a similar pattern of feedback. Quite a few tracks were dropped from the final release, including the amazing instrumental 'Trance-Atlantic' that was subsequently put on the second disc of the Limited Edition of TUAO. Most disheartening was a posters conviction that the new Where The Beats... track would have to be erased as they don't have permission to distribute it commercially. If true, this would also eliminate 'Bit a Bad Boy' and 'See Your Smile', as the chorus of BABB would presumably be hindered on account of the new chorus allegedly being taken from a Britney Spears song.

So while I'd like one to be considered, I think a great deal of the awesomeness will be lost because of the above causalities. Of course I won't know till I actually see it, but I suspect I'll be a little disappointed. Wish I went to Hamburg to be honest....

There's only been one thread about someone suspecting the new single to be Where The Beats..., and this one is entirely different.

I don't think we'll see this track as a new b-side, but I hope we'll get it in some form, perhaps on a live cd or dvd (why would they record the show, otherwise?).
 This is a signature.

There will be a DVD, the entire Hamburg show was recorded with several swing arm cameras, and other stage camera's etc. And I think the SOR (Live in Hamburg) video proves this even more + the security told that in Hamburg would be the DVD recording. When it will be released no one knows, but it will be released for sure in some way, maybe seperate, or maybe in a box set... but there will be a DVD, I'm 100% sure of that, I've seen it myself while beeing in Hamburg ;)

I very much liked this version, but fact is I'd prefer a "real" release to a live CD one, simply because if it isn't live, they have more room to tweek it.

I was persuaded at first when everyone's suspicions starting pouring in after you returned from the concert, but I'm finding myself feeling more and more sceptical. I just assumed the Stuck On Replay footage from Harmburg was intended as promotion for the release of the single, as they did happen to coincide. And the swing arm cameras? Perhaps they were only functional during the Club Mix/Radio Edit of SOR? I don't know. Admittedly, you're in more of a position to lend likelihood to the possibility, but I'm still not convinced to be honest.

You have permission to rub it in my face if I'm wrong.

No they filmed the whole consert. I was in almost in the front row, and the cameraman ran with the camera filming the crowd many times under the consert, not only during SOR! And the cranes where going back and forth over the arena. :D

You'll see, the DVD will come! :D

I was in Hamburg 2010, and can confirm that you would have been truly in exstasy on one of the UTROTT shows, one can't stay calm on such a mega show ;) :D

Love it, I reckon a MYA 2010 hardstyle version would easily be a chart topper.

For sure, it would be 90s revival with fresh modern beats. It should work in the charts ;)

If Scooter re-released an old single

That's a fact, and some fans will complain too, but yet I think it would be a good idea.... I wouldn't complain, but they would have to do it well. The Hardstyle Ass part on tour sounded great, so if they would put the same effort in the entire new edit, I think even the haters wouldn't have anything to complain. I really hope for Hardstyle Ass, atleast as a bonus on some future album ;)

well, I can tell you that I always hated Scooter's "covering" (ehm....ripping off) other artists and on the other hand, it was always kinda strange that for all these years they never covered some of their old tunes (well, except Fish is Jumping)....and to tell you the truth, it wouldn't be a bad move after all, imo....because:

1st, covering your own song isn't half as bad as ripping of thousands off other artists so shamelessly like they often do, and 2nd, it would make sense financially, i mean, reworking some classic Scooter track and making it sound more fresh and up to date - dont get me wrong, i dont have anything against classics like Hyper Hyper, Move Your Ass, Endless Summer etc., they are good just how they are and they definitely passed the test of time, but releasing these reworked versions would be some kind of a tribute to those classics and also a way to introduce those classics to a new generation of fans, especially to the hardstyle/jumpstyle crowd...

and while i'm not a hardstyle/jumpstyle fan at all, Fish is Jumping was kinda interesting for me and also, from what i could hear from all those UTROTT tour videos, new MYA version doesn't sound bad at all....so yeah, I think for all these years, fans deserve at least one rework of some classic Scooter tune (preferably from 1st chapter) which should get a single release...

I agree, it will be a lot of arguing as always... I'm not against this, but pls not as a single, only as a mix bonus on a new single along with a decent b-side. Nothing more!
