happy hardcore, trance and techno :!: with these 3 styles they can create a masterpiece album with variety;) No need to follow the new trends, because a new trend dosen't necessary fit to Scooter just because it's a new style/trend :!:

That's a fact ;) Not all trends would be fitting to Scooter, but I'm sure that when they try to follow a trend, they choose a trend that fits to them very well. The last trends fitted to them IMO...but ofcourse I miss the "oldskool" music, that was always epic.

I don't know Ed, the jumpstyle wasn't he best trend to follow...but the hardstyle would have been perfect but there is a little problem: the abused, i mean 3-4 hardstyle tracks are ok/album, but when 80% of the album is in the same style and that certain style is a new one that gives u the ideea that this new trend was followed because IT SELLS;) Also i think they are on the good way, I think they realised that's not the way....comparing JAOTW (wich is 100% jumpstyle except Marian) UTROTT has 3 different songs" Metropolis", TSAMH and Second Skin.

If the new style will be something you posted back then on the other forum I'll be totally stunned! 8| I can't imagine worse "a'ss licking" . And now after seeing/hearing what Westbam has made I start to be more sure that you could have been right too. 8| The way of KONTOR is the "trendy way"...

I'm looking forward to get banned after this... :whistling: :D

The way of KONTOR is the "trendy way"...

Well, it's a firm that has to make money....and when it wouldn't go the trendy way it would also go bankrupt maybe, like Westbams label did. ;) I get your point, and am also not so much a "trendy" way lover, but still, I can understand why KONTOR does it that way. It's a firm afterall that has to make profit, so they have to work like that ;) .... and even going the trendy way one takes risks, because not all songs sell, but a video has to be made for them etc ;)

But still it's a shame that people only listen to tracks that are trendy, and the people like that tracks, because they have to like them, because it's a trend

Yeah, it sucks. People follow the trends like sheeps...
Why is there so many people who aren't able to choose their music themselves? Is it so dangerous to think for yourself?

A wise man said to me: still standing is dead! And in case of Scooter and the next style would fit this quote exactly. Why? If Scooter would lead back their style to the old hardstyle and trance times. Who would listen to this music, and would buy the new album? Obviously those people who know this kind of music from the past. Sorry, but I beg to differ in that point. So like I said in the past: I want a knew surprise for the next style of Scooter. Maybe more house tunes, or maybe more new hardstyle tunes. Who knows... But I'm undecided if Scooter went back to the old styles of their music. That wouldn't fit H.P.!

As far as I know H.P. is into the current charts, and knows enough about the artists and their styles. With those knowledge I do not believe that they wanna go back to the old styles. But... Let us see what will happen in the next year? :whistling:
At the moment: Here is enough space for broken dreams! ;( ;( ;(

I don't agree. ;) If the music is good enough it can also be selfmade and not only trendy to sell enough in order to avoid the bankrupt. :!:

I was watching Viva Polska/Viva Germany on TV last weekend a bit and I must say that if Scooter's way will be that way... 8| I don't dare to think about it... Once there was good dance music and then came this dancehall wave...

So, as an experiment, I would hear some House, DNB and Hands Up tracks frome Scooter ;) Think about it, after all if guys didn't produce Sheffield or TUAO (as we know, experimental albums), we could never hear such things like Down To The Bown, Never Slow Down, U.F.O. Phenomena - really super experimental works!

So, and I wish Scooter to follow trance or hard-trance direction! Yes, trance was when Jay Frog was in band, but they must try again! Rave, yeee!! :)

I don't really like the late A*S*Y*S works, so I don't want Scooter to produce tracks like THAT. But some old stuff from A*S*Y*S was really good and I like the oldschool Acid style. Scooter already used and I'm sure will use in future some acid elements, but I don't think it's a good idea to produce the whole album as acid and I'm sure Scooter will not do it.

Well in all honesty, I saw talk above about Scooter simply following the trends. Now a popular style is Dubstep, which I do enjoy, but I think that if Scooter tried to produce dubstep it would be terrible  doesn't fit into the Scooter atmosphere at all... stay with jumpstyle and hard trance, so far my favourite (MTG, WGTLLN, JAOTW, UTROTT style) and maybe a bit different like TUAO

scooter have the power and fans and ability to bring a old genra back to live, look at jumpstyle, altough it was a modern and known dance, scooter blew it out to the world, now every dance artist is doing jump, i recon scooter could go back to happy hardcore and hardcore very easy, after all this is how it all started and hardcore is still very popular, i imagine it would do scooter really well to go rough once again
