Viewing this forum using an iPhone

I sometimes check the forum using my iPhone 3G.
The kinda strange thing is how slow this forum is loading while using my iPhone 3G to browse it.
This has nothing to do with the network, wheter I'm browsing through the mobile network or through WiFi, it's slow! So any other site or forum will load within a normal time.

I wonder if there are more iPhone users here with this problem.

The old forum had the same problem btw.

I don't have this problem but I have the iPhone 3GS. It loads fully in under 10 seconds.

I often check the forum with my Nokia N95 8GB and haven't really noticed it to be any slower than a website of the same size... But one thing bugs me: I can't login using Opera Mini or Nokia's own web browser :( In the old version of the forum it worked like a dream :(

the standard forum skin has a large background image (almost 1MB only for this graphic). Try to use a different forum style. (i use the woltlab 3 skin, where you can see above the woltlab logo)

I can login to the forum without any problems using my Nokia 5530 and I also use alternative forum skin, so I don't know how the original skin is loading. By the way, this message was send via my phone. Everything seems to be OK with posting.

I use Opera Mini too to check the forum and I have the same problem. To solve it, set opera on mobile view and login, then turn it back to full view.
