Satellite Bass / Section 1

"SECTION 1" is brand new Czech-Slovakian music project produced by talented producers of modern dance music Dennis Dee (well known as D.D Flash from "Satellite Bass project") and DJ Yo-Ghi (well known as a producer of hands up/jumpstyle "Disco Jumperz project"). Main idea of Section 1 project is production of unique and modern happy hardcore sound with high tempo (around 160 BPM) and melodic vocals including typical rave "megaphonic vocal".

Section 1 is in contact with label "Horizon Sight Records" at present. Early in 2010 Section 1 project prepares a release of track called "Gonna Take U High", including special remixes by Disco Jumperz and Satellite Bass.

and Scooter doesn't sound cheesy or what? Hahahaha, good joke.
I'm a fan of section 1. They do the same like scooter, but a small detail is different: they tunes are selfmade and not ripped.

Do you know what the word "cheesy" actually means? That word seems to be thrown around in the incorrect context a lot here. Scooter's music has always sounded remarkably professional to me. You'd have be disingenuous to say otherwise.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest, that led me to cringe multiple times. It seems that no one but Scooter can pull that style off without sounding like a complete bunch of douches in the process. It was embarrassing to hear those laughable vocals as they just couldn't be pulled off convincingly. The track actually sounded fake, and somewhat of a deliberate joke. It kinda unwittingly reminded me of the motives behind 'Moped'.

There was another track from Satellite Bass that made me feel uncomfortable. It sounded largely inspired from Jumping All Over The World.
Can't seem to recollect the title.

Anyway, just eww. Not for me.

I agree with May. The vocals from Section 1 sounds a bit... is fake the right word? But I guess I'm just so used to HP's shouting and singing, that other artist doing the same sound strange to me.
Anyway, I've just listened to Russia again, and also Gonna Take U High, and both tracks are growing on me. At least for the moment.
Prohibited sounds interesting, kinda in the same spot as the Ti Sento club mix. Not as much "wow", but I think I'm gonna like Section 1 :P

It is, except for very few tracks. (like See Your Smile etc...)

Every song i have heard so far from them, that imitates scooterstyle is defenitely not my case.

The experimental own stuff is great :-D like the B-sides, really love the one from the last single. But the rest is not worth buying

I'm considering buying Russia (WRU?) when it's released. Much better than SOR...
