It's too hard to pick one film. Team America, Borat and 28 Days/Weeks later.
I love comedy and horror, can't beat it.

Picking favourite movies is very hard for me, but I'D say: the Star Wars movies, the Die Hard movies, Running Scared, Crank1+2, the Lethal Weapon movies, Sin City, the Blade movies...and so on. Basically I love everything that's got to do something with vampires. I kinda got a passion for them. Action movies are cool, too, at least some of them. With comedy movies it depends on which kinda humor they have, cause I got a very black humor :D

Choosing my favourite series is definitely easier: Dr. House (best series ever), Monk, The Simpsons, Prison Break & Moonlight.

I guess that's it :D

I've never been much of a film enthusiast, but there are a few that correspond to a particular hobby of mine. Films like Outbreak, 28 Days/Weeks Later, Toxic Skies, Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc. all speak to me on an intellectual level. Films like Silent Hill appeal to me because of the religious angle, whereas Resident Evil and Outbreak are intriguing because of the focus on viruses. These movies seem to integrate a captivating balance of entertainment and education. Watching a movie solely for the expectation of action or special effects doesn't appeal to me.

In terms of television series, I tend to religiously watch things like Hollyoaks, Smallville, The Big Bang Theory, Pokemon, Scrubs, Dexter, South Park etc. I like a combination of mystery and comedy all wrapped into one; quite a diversified set of programmes if you ask me. The Pokemon TV series still plays a significant part in my life-- not so much the latest series however. I'll watch anything from Season 1 to 8 due to the voice acting cast that was replaced via the shift in contract as to who owned the show in the United States. These so called sound-alike actors are anything but-- more like the antithesis of the characters I've grown to love. Big fan of May! Her new voice is just awful... Veronica Taylor was irreplaceable. :cursing:

Great Scott! I don't care much about movies but this trilogy is truly great. I think its 25th birthday is just around the corner?
Edit: Oh, and why? They're funny and so full of details. I still keep noticing new stuff after all these years. Every aspect of them is great from music to acting to colours.
 This is a signature.

Movies:

Star Wars saga
Terminator saga (excluding T4)
The Godfather trilogy
Indiana Jones saga
Superman saga
Alien saga
James Bond films
Spider Man trilogy (Won't be a trilogy for long)
Pirates fo the Caribbean trilogy (Same)
Resident Evil trilogy (And same)
Austin Powers trilogy (Hopefully the same)
Of The Dead films
Transformers films
Star Trek films
Amelie
Der Untergang
Pulp Fiction
Cutthroat Island
Saving Private Ryan

Tv shows/series:

Smallville
Supernatural
24
Days Of Our Lives
The Young and the Restless
Dallas
Dynasty
Terminator-The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Desperate Housewives

And here's some of my favorite actors/actresses:

Sean Connery (Bonds, Entrapment, Finding Forrester, Highlander)
Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator, Total Recall, Commando, Predator)
Larry Hagman (Dallas)
Joseph Mascolo (Days Of Our Lives
Eric Braeden (The Young and the Restless)
Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3-Rise of the Machines, Painkiller Jane, Mortal Kombat)
Jerry Lewis (The Patsy, The Delicate Delinquent, Artists and Models, The Nutty Professor)

This is just a small part of my endless list of favorites :D
