I'm really curious what the definitive position in the charts will be, but from what I can see, I think somewhere in between 30-40 .
or even lower =/

8| 8| ;( ;( ;( What has happened ????? I never ever thought it would do so bad in the charts....damn it !!!! ;( :S It's a great song, how can it be so bad according to people that a top 40 entry is impossible.... ?( ?( .... really strange. ?(

the 3rd worst postion in the history. and the worst position since 9 years.(in germany).
i can´t understand it. but maybe because of only 2 tracks.

The thing with the 2-track isn't the only problem. When I was on Saturday in Bonn, I saw the single nowhere. No one has it there. I was a bit confused, but okay. I have no problems for not having the single. I saw anyway in my collection that I'm missing since Jumping all over the World the vinyls. I would say, that I lost over the months my interest for the guys. I'm already reached so far the level for sell my entire-collection.

One thing makes me really wonder: Why was "I'm raving" such a top hit (#5, gold) when "The sound above..." is doing so bad though both the songs are very similar?
In my opinion this new each-month-a-single-release policy is the main problem: there's no time for good promotion and people/TV stations still want/send "Ti Sento". Please go back to the good old release policy, Scooter and take your time to create the single versions and to promote them better. Even "Ti sento" could have sold better if it wasn't released on the same day when the album was released.
In 2003 there was Weekend! in February, after 3-4 weeks TSTE came, in May "The Night" was released and in August "Maria" - all those releases were well-promoted and successful.
And now?
August - J'Adore
October- Ti sento/UTROTT
November- The sound above
4 releases within 4 months!!!

i didn't buy it because of the stupid f`ucking auto-tune

dunno why it's "cool" right now again -.-

but now they got the position they deserved for JH, JAOTW, ANM and TQIWITQ.
If they don't change anything, i hope the next single will be even worse in the charts.

sorry, but i'm very angry right now and i can't decide between good and bad, so i hate everything atm. including the sound above my balls

Atleast it's luckily in the top 40, but for how long, that's the question.

i dont understand why some ppl keep comparing I'm Raving and TSAMH...there's nothing similar between them...yes, they both have bagpipe melodies but other then that, they're completely different tracks...

No similarities between "I'm raving" and "The sound..."?
-bagpipes
-HP is singing, but both songs are no ballads
-"go out and rave"-theme

The main difference: "I'm raving"is more complex, there is more play with the beats (especially when HP shouts "wiiicked wickeeed") and there are more lyrics. "The sound above..." constists only of a repeated chorus, crod shouts and bagipes - but it's more lively and the chorus melody is better than the one of "I'm raving".

I'm sure this bad chart entry is NOT because of a "bad single" composition. The song is quite good. I think there are other factors who made this song fail.
HOWEVER it's not over...it could still climb! If not...NEXT :P

The most important thing is that "we" like it

PS: I compare it with "Cascada - Evacuate the dancefloor " and the next one "Cascada - Fever ". Click the links to the see the german chart success...good 1st single to a worse one.

You're right, it's a great track, most of us fans love it. And it could climb, that's not impossible ;)

To be honest, the bagpipe melody is the only thing I like with IR :S

im raving cant be beat IMO, and the reason why it was better in the charts was because the era i think, although scooter have done the same thing back then hardcore to a more mellow house and trance, like now jump/hardstyle and back to trance,
i might still climb, now it has charted it may rise, singles have before in the past,
an it climbed from 98 to 10 in german itunes, and it is gonna be the next uk single so lets see,

maybe the quick releases are what make it fail,
or maybe this is gonna be a quik single or german only release
while scooter create the real next big single

The release policy is the main fault IMO.
But it could climb because it's a song people must first get used to. With a bit more promo/"airplay" within the next weeks it could really climb even if my hopes are not so big (before Christmas there are so many other songs which are pushed by their record companies/the media).
But we shouldn't put our heads into the sand - other successful dance artists fail even more often in the charts. Cascada had a few hits ("Everytime...", "What hurts the most", "Evacuate..."), but also a lot of less successful singles ("Last Christmas", "Fever", "What do you want from me").

You cannot really compare I'm raving and TSAMH sell's at all. I'm raving was released in 1996 when eurodance music was VERY popular. And also all the music was sold on CD's. Nowadays people download more that buy music on CD's and that has affected on singles even more than on albums. Just real fans and collectors buy CD singles so no one wants to keep them in stores 'cause no one buys them.
But still we can compare TSAMH to JAH or Ti sento that were released THIS autumn and the think about why this new single ain't selling as well as them. Well, for me it seems like 3 singles in 2 months is a bit too much and this 2 track format ain't very attractive either. The song repeats history too much as it sounds too much like I'm raving. The album version is WAY better with some nice happy hc vibes and really hoped that they would have improved that version with more powerfull happy hc sounds but they decided to cut the nice happy hc beginning totally off and make the whole song weaker with too soft sounds so this track ain't at all what I was expecting and not either as good as it could have been as a more powerfull track. It seems like it was made in a hurry. And that goes for the video too. It's too predictable and after great Ti sento video it looks SO cheap to me. :S So that's why I cannot see TSAMH selling very well. It's not even close to be among Scooter's best singles.
Feel free to disagree with me but that's how I see it.

I'm still very sad TSAMH does so bad in the charts.....it's epic and magical, but somehow doesn't get the attention it deserves. Maybe it will go up in the next weeks, let's hope so.... Although it seems not to become a chartsucces I still hope for more tracks like that in the future, but doubt we will get them after this chart disaster ..... I hope Scooter atleast know most fans love it, and decide to play it on lot's of future tours to come.
As for the video ofcourse Ti Sento was unbelievable great, like a movie. But I do like the vid to TSAMH too, I love the Scooter parade and the city it's recorded in. The video gives me as an addition also somehow a christmas atmopshere / christmas feeling. I really can't complain at all, I love it, and that's it. Hope for more TSAMH styled tracks in the future! ;)
