I've been watching Clubland tv from half 10 this morning. Not once i've i seen an advert to promote the album. I'd thought AATW who owns Clubland and Scooter would be doing there best to sell the album :S

I'm disappointed as this album would easily chart in the top 20 given the right promotion. All I see coming from AATW at the moment is N'Dubz being pushed all over the place.

I do hope it manages to pick up during the week and break the top 40. I just hope the UK tour won't be effected.

Will was just telling me that N'Dubz is getting a lot of promotion just now - maybe AATW can't afford to promote 2 albums at the same time.
I was in my local Tesco this evening and it was either 56 or 59 (can't remember) and there were about 3 copies on the shelf. I think that we have to hope that this album can sell more when people hear it through friends etc and then decide to buy it, because it only seems to have been promoted really on Clubland TV so far, and I think Scooter have a far wider appeal than just Clubland viewers (based on people I know who really like them but have probably never watched Clubland TV in their life)

i have watched clubland tv for long periods of time and never seen the advert yet on that channel. i have seen the advert to many times to count on 4music and chart show it is on there about every 3 advert breaks. also i think it is a bad time for scooter to release an album because leading up to christmas just about every big act you can think of is making an album so a top 40 album would be a good achievement due to the competition, Susan Boyle, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Britney, Robbie Williams and many many more.

also on other note kontor have uploaded TSAMH extended video but it's private so know one can watch it i don't know why they would do that. here's the link anyway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTz_rJMBTe8

the album is climbing nicely on itunes though its at no #76 top albums at the moment.

From what I recall the Itunes chart isn't added to the midweeks until Thurs/Fri.

Enya is the new entry at 40, so you can judge UTROTT's progress on itunes against he album really.

sorry - got the wrong channel - but they are still not channels a lot of people watch - they really need to target ITV - one ad in the middle of a big show like x-factor or I'm a Celeb could make a huge difference - I know it would be expensive - but just one would reach a huge audience

I would like to think that AATW are trying their best, but really if the album can't make the Top 40, that just really isn't good enough ... maybe it will pick up in the weekend when people are off school/work etc ... :S

I think Im a Celeb or X Factor would be absolutely wonderful, although that might be too expensive, but at the least putting it in the middle of say T4 on C4 Sunday mornings, when a lot of teenagers/young adults are watching would do wonders for sales, I am sure, and probably not cost anywhere near as much ...

I used to work in advertising, I could give some of my old colleagues a call if it would help AATW to promote it :D

Oh, so sorry for the triple post, but my parents have just phoned to tell me that they saw an advert for the album on Sky One just now while watching Stargate!!

It might not be I'm A Celebrity, but thats a sign the advertising is going beyond Clubland TV

If so is, why don't AATW do the only FAIR thing and share the promotion ecually on BOTH artists?
It's the most simple idea to find, but it seems like AATW only have the interest in N-Dubz and the damn Cascada...

on itunes enya is no #66 top albums
scooter is no #73

but earlier enya was #50 and scooter was #81 so scooter are catching up.

Anyone else get the impression AATW are struggling in the present climate? Its a difficult time for dance music in the UK at the moment as everything RnB or Xfactor pop seems to dominate the airwaves.

They are taking less risks with Singles? if its not by Cascade/NDubz it wont get promotion and will be download only. The Clubland CD's used to be full of fresh dance music from Europe and it really set them apart from the opposition, now we get the occasional European and Scooter track but in the main it seems 3cd's full of Ultrabeat remixes of Girls Aloud, Cheryl Cole etc.

NDubz seem to be in with the Uk Media at the moment, so obviously they are going to pump in more resources to promoting their album than Scooter's unfortunately.

I'm not against AATW, im grateful for the Clubland gigs, the No1 album and their backlash against the media last year. I just hope that a low chart entry won't put off the UK tour early next year.
