All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

I had high chart expectations of the UTROTT album in the UK after the succes with JAOTW, but totally the opposite happened. ;(

It is this trend nowadays. There are just one hit wonders and trends change way too quick. I really feel too old to understand that sometimes...

That's a fact, every year some new artists emerge from the unknown, have succes all around the world and dissapear again after 1 or 2 year's. Everything goes far too fast nowedays :S

I hate it somehow. Too quick trends and all the annoying format radios.

Yes  It's the end of the era where bands existed like 15-30 year's, that will soon belong to the past.

That's really sad. :S For me the hits doesn't mean anything. I'm always curious to see how good music the band can make in the long run. All the great albums, DVD's, videos... Manyt tours and live DVD's of them... It's so great to see/hear how the band and the music evolutes during the years. ;)

But this 'living as fast as possible' mentality ain't supporting that kind of evolution really... :S

I think the problem is that nowadays everyone can become an artist, with music making pc programs and such.
And so, there are so many different bands and artists that it somehow maybe collapses. SImply too many, or something... and as they don't get success, they drop it after some years.

The biggest problem, I think, is that so many people don't buy records but instead just download them illegaly for free and say it isn't harming the artist as they aren't stealing physical copies from stores. :cursing:
 This is a signature.

I downloaded the new Scooter tracks, but I also bought the album.
That's a fact it's not that cheap, but it deserves to buy!

They're correct...but not because of not stealing physical copies, but because artists only get a fraction of the sale money. It's the label that is affected by it.
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

Now that's what I'm talking about. In HMV's in Liverpool and Warrington the album was for 14.99GBP last month :( The only reason why I still don't have it.
