i am sure the next album will do much better in the uk if released at the right time and not at the same time as n-dubz, ultrabeat or cascada then aatw will focus on scooter. with jaotw no other big aatw act released an album around the same time i don't think, so aatw focused on scooter, this time they just concentrated on n-dubz, hopefully they will pay attention only to scooter next time.

I doubt it, I reckon the next album won't be released here.

I can't see another studio album being released here for a while in light of AATW's incompetence. Presumably, Scooter will probably end up releasing a live album recorded from their tour across Germany next year. This won't get one iota of attention here. Unless AATW shift their priorities from promoting other artists under their label to the furtherance of Scooter. We all know that's not happening. Instead, Scooter are now on their inevitable little way to being forgotten.

I'm still stunned about the disregard for its performance. I'm equally perturbed about the false advertising interpolated onto the front cover. This is an inexcusable blunder as far as I'm concerned, as you would have thought it would have been checked extensively before the preparation nearing the release date. If I remember correctly, the inclusion of Jump That Rock made the total number of tracks on the album 'Jumping All Over The World' to fourteen. This could be the source of the mix up. This doesn't make it any less permissible though...

It all sounds a little pessimistic, but I don't see any other logical inference from this.

That would most likely give them alot of promo, if not Kontor can push al the releases in Europe from now on.

i recon they wont release another album here for a while, if anything a singles collection, but JAOTW had most of all the singles, and UTROTT had all the vids, so that would flop big time, for scooter to get back to the uk, they need another smash hit like ramp

does any one know what the album sales are so far, last i seen was 8000 in first week

I doubt the album will get higher in the UK charts again, the jump upwards on Amazon looks prommissing, but I think it's a false alarm , and next week it will have left the top 100 in the UK....sad but true.... :S

One reason o-line sales might have climbed is because now its dropped its not available in a lot of supermarkets - for example my local Tesco only stock the Top 75 - I wanted to buy a copy there on Monday and they don't sell it any longer.

btw - I though AATW (and Kontor) are all part of Universal music :)

thats funny because my local tesco has moved it from the top 75 understandably aswell
but now its on a end shelf next to cds and to me it seems to be selling more now than it did and i think its because its on the second shelf and eye catching where as before in the charts it was on the bottom out the way

and i have noticed the recent sales are improving slightly so it may climb back into the top75

but lets see,
can anyone tell me where to see the trends with the sales on it, would be intresting to see what the sales are so far

As far as I know 51% of Kontor Records is owned by Edel Records Germany. Kontor isn't at Universal ;)

Sorry - yes but I think they have some sort of partnership though
EDIT - yes I have found waht I had read before:

"Currently, Universal Records holds the exclusive licensing rights to V2 Records, Beggars Banquet, Avex Trax, edel Records, Pony Canyon and Koch Records among others - covering various genres of music from dance, mainstream pop and R&B to jazz, indie, alternative, new age and lounge. "

So, Edel owns 51 % of Jens Thele's Kontor.
But, I thought Jens, HP and Rick was the only owners of Kontor ?(

No, they own a sublabel of Kontor called Sheffield Tunes. Kontor is a huge dance label (they have Michael Mind, ATB, and I think Tiesto).

Kontor was setup by Jens in 1995, in April 2007 they joined with Edel .
As far as I know Sheffield Tunes was set up as a sub=label of Kontor in 2000
