Chapter 5 ?

Hi All,

It's has been now almost 4 years since chapter 4 started.
Might we have a 5th chapter in 2010 ? Will Michael Simon leave the band ?

What's your opinion on this ?

I hope Mike will stay.
There's no agreement. Jay said it a few years ago.
It's up to him but in an interview at PopXport he said he knows what's his fate.
Silly thing, it started with Ferris, he wanted to get a bigger act but he didn't get, so he left.
I don't know what happened to Axel and Jay when they had to leave.
I can't understand this, very strange

Well, as you said, Ferris wanted to be bigger, and being the star, which HP was in Scooter. So he left and tried to gain success on his own, but he failed, both with his pop orientated music and the later techno projects.

I'm not sure about Axel, I've heard 2 different versions. 1 that his wife asked him to quit, and 1 that he became ill during the PTBFTJ tour, after the recording of the Encore cd and dvd, and decided to leave Scooter while he was in the hospital for a few days.

Transcore wrote on his Scooter fansite that he knows someone who knows Jay, and has told him that Jay confirmed that there was/is a 4 years contract, and besides that, he apparently wanted to make a solo career himself, too, like Axel.

I don't know about Michael, how his situation will turn out, but I think we'll find out during 2010.

it may be possible that Michael was on a 4 year contract, but it's also possible that he had it extended. In a way, it's a clever idea of Scooter's to do that, cos when ideas dry up they can just get a new guy in and come up with something new. On the other hand its not the nicest thing to do to a band member but i'm sure they're made aware of this when they join the band.

cause I like the 4th chapter. but I'm not too good at predictions so I might be wrong. hope I am.
