It only can give you a cough....haha....not more :D :D :D

They get a silent moment or a beep on the word, and the video gets blurred parts....but indeed, it seems those don´t get banned, and Rammsteins do....although Rammsteins vids are often a bit harder than the rap videos, but still, some rap videos should also be banned, if Rammstein vids are banned too, that´s right ! :S

Actually, you can say pretty much any swear word on German TV without getting beeped out. It's always funny to see when rappers like Eminem are here and hear the host say words like f'uck, etc. They're totally surprised then and ask if they're allowed to say things like that here. :D But to really get on the index swear words alone aren't enough. The whole context of the song has to be harming for kids. For example in the song IDTW there's not one swear word at all, yet it's on the index (though I still think that's totally exaggerated).

LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA has gone Double Platinum in Finland and Germany and has reached Platinum status in Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland + Gold status in Belgium, Denmark, France, Romania, Sweden and Mexico. The album sold over 1,000,000 shipments globally since its release in October 2009.

Source: R+ forums;) LIFAD IS A MASTERPIECE! There is nothing much to comment.......

It sold Platinum at least here BEFORE it was released! :D :D :D That tells pretty much about the love that we feel for the band in Finland.

This swear word thing is incredible... Here in Finland people can say pretty much whatever! :D I hate sencoring if there is no reason for it. Everyone knows which word is hidden behind the beep... And I HATE the sencored version of LUT! I hate it so much that I have no words! :cursing: I love LUT as it is very much so I can't take that ridicilous "sencoring". And I HATE the fact that they've put that f'ucking :D sencored version to the Dark side collection...   But I think they had no other choice...

amazon now lists 2 versions of the Haifisch single. The normal one for 5,99€ and an import for 15,99€. Maybe the ITDW remix is really just going to be released in the UK and the German tracklist is a different one?

Could be, for sure for the Germans ITDW is still a "danger" and u might be right T!M;) For sure they won't be able to release of ITDW especially if the remix will have the original lyrics....
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Or any lyrics... It seems that the indexing is so 'in' in Germany. :D Even though LIFAD album was there available exactly like here. 8| In Hamburg I mean. It was not anyhow hidden. Ok, ITDW was taken off of course. ;)

I still don't know should I buy the single or not.. I have to hear the tracks first. ;)

yea, LIFAD is still available here like every other record. Only ITDW and the pic with Richard beating the woman's ass have been cut. It's not the complete album that's been indexed, it's just that one song and picture. ;)

I'm definitely going to buy the single and if there's two different formats for the British and German release, I'm gonna buy both :) But I'm pretty excited what the cover's going to look like...

Oh, the pic is also gone! 8| LOL!! :D No wonder! :P :D "Slapping someone is just the normal sexual freedom..." :D Richard is a man! :D :D

I'm also curious how the cover will be. 8) I have to hear the tracks before but it can be that I'll buy the single if the remixes are great. I haven't at least regretted of buying ITDW single. I love all the remixes so much. Also the odd one! :D :D It is my fave! I haven't ever heard anything that funny! LOL!!!!!! :D :D :D

yea, the reason it was censored is that it presents SM-practices :D

I can't wait to hear the Haiswing Remix. I can't really imagine Haifisch in a swing version, but oh well...I also couldn't imagine Keine Lust in a jazz version and it turned out to be quite good :D

Some remixes really are great. The Keine Lust (Ich Zähl Die Fliegen Remix) is one of the best. And of course the Smallboy mix from ITDW.

Here's the remix if you want to listen to it, Cassy ;) yea, I think buying the CD single could be a bit hard/expensive.

Definitely, some of the R+ remixes are really awesome. I like that a lot of them are inventive and something you wouldn't expect. Not the usual "let's turn a rock track into a dance remix"-stuff

Thank god for Youtube! :P Interesting remix that jazz one. Clawfinger has made many remixes for Rammstein I see. Also about Sonne that I knew already. It is Clawfinger's guy that is also playing in Emigrate ain't it? Drummer or something? :?:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWFUuIgKjvk&feature=related
This wasn't bad either. :P

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3oURoiW5dc&feature=related
And this was interesting too. ;)

I'm the fan of cross-over in a way so I have no problem making some techno out or Rammstein. They are, however, also influenced by both electro and metal. ;)

Yep, Clawfinger's live drummer is also the drummer for Emigrate. I really like Clawfinger's remixes for Rammstein. Always pretty interesting :)

I know that R+ is influenced by both genres ;) With dance mixes I actually meant some cheaply produced beats where a lot of times the lyrics are simply put over. Those remixes are plain boring to me. But I have nothing against dance/techno remixes in general. For example I really like the Westbam Remix of Ich will or especially the Pet Shop Boys remixes for Mein Teil.

I didn't mean my comment to you really. ;) I just read those comments people had written on Youtube about the Spieluhr remix... For me music is not THAT serious issue but for many many Rammstein fans it seems to be a bit deal that not all the people in the world consider them as a metal band and this continuous discussion about "Is Rammstein metal music or not" is getting to my nerves... Who cares what their music is?!? It is damn good music and that's it! I don't like people that are stuck in the genres so much. this world is full of great music and the genre doen't matter at all IMO. :P

You aren't surely that kind of person as you hang around here, on Scooter forum. :D ;)

998

Friday, May 7th 2010, 1:58pm

Oh, then I misunderstood that a bit. Sorry for that ;) But I completely agree with you about the genre-thing. To me it's totally irrelevant what kinda genre a band or a certain song is. If I like something, I like it and if not, then not. It's as easy as that. Genres don't matter to me. To me it's simply important what the music gives to me.

Yes, to me too. ;) I like even more if the band ain't too faithfull to one certain genre. I like variety in music. It gets very boring if the band is stuck in certain style from year to year. But unfortunately that is the safe way and so many bands stuck there for that reason. But IMO band should try some experimental material too. That's why I appreciate Rosenrot album from Rammstein very much. That is probably the most brave album from them because it's full of experimental stuff. Not so typical album from Rammstein. But who likes it? Not pretty much anyone... ;( But still R+ ain't very good example of the band with large variety in music. But yeah, it is not boring though so there is variety enough. They still have avoided repeatingthemselves IMO. ;)

Friday, May 7th 2010, 2:38pm

yea, I don't think that Rammstein are repeating themselves. To me it's more like a development of their sound. Especially on their first 3 albums they pushed their sound further and brought it to new levels. It's not like they did Herzeleid three times. You can clearly hear the evolution.

Well, Rosenrot is not my absolute favourite R+ album, but that's definitely not because it's too experimental or something like that. I really love songs like Stirb nicht vor mir or Ein Lied. Plain beautiful. Overall, Rosenrot is for sure a great album and I like it a lot, but it's just not my favourite.
