I groaned when I saw the name, expecting another lame recycled melody track like The Fish is Jumping...but instead it almost sounds like proper hardstyle with the distorted bassdrum and all. Shame it's a bit short and ofc ripped from another hardstyle track, but should sound good anyway.

Well in my opinion listening to the samples from the page Ed provided, I can say I'm really to thrilled about them, I dont like the idea of doing SA once again, like they did Jadore hardcore which was the same part in the s*it that killed elvis

It seems to be a worryingly increasing trend atm...Apache Rocks the Bottom (Rock Bottom/Apache), The Fish is Jumping (HMITF), J'adore Hardcore (The Shit That Killed Elvis), Dushbag (Monstertune) and now this (Scarborough Affair).

Recycling past melodies from their own tracks = fail. (although Dushbag is one of the best Scooter tracks in recent times, so it worked there)
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

We already discussed about the radio edit,so i won't comment anymore...good track but not the best, great video. VIP Room club mix and Lissat & Voltaxx ,both suxx for me. The b-side is great...but i wanted something new not a "reloaded" thing!

Well you can't really call it ripped, Scooter used the SA chorus before, and KGB is also not the inventor of this chorus, so I wouldn't call it ripped. For sure Scooter were inspired to use the SA chorus again when they heared the KGB track, that's a fact. But the vocal part is in my opinion not sampled from KGB's track, I think it's an own recording, but I might be wrong ofcourse. ;)

Quoted

J'adore Hardcore (The Sh*t That Killed Elvis),

It's not the same melody, it's totally different. The TSTKE melody was inspired by Chase The Sun, but the JAH melody is a cover of Chase The Sun, that's a big difference. ;)

this is a good track, hard and radical and a ood track to use, but TUAO version is better for me, the c-section on that tune is bliss, one of the best out there

Although I prefer "Scarborough Affair", it is really nice to have this new track...the vocals are awesome with different singer, and the melody is hard! I especially love the last 30 seconds of the single!
"Scarborough Reloaded" seems to be a nice B-Side!
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiickeeeeeeeeeeeed! :D

the female vocal sounds like a rip off from Infinity by The KGB.

I don't think it's a rip, I think some studio singer sung the refrain for Scooter. And this singer is used in more tracks on the album I think, because the HPV is different to previous albums. ;)

sounds really good so far. this time the voice is not so much pitched so it fits well to the (harder) rest.
