In the Media Markt album charts the album was last week on 5, and this week on 6, so it's rather stabile in those stores !! Let's hope that it will be also just as stabile in the official German album charts ;)

Well, it has fallen more than I thought, I even expected it to go up to 1, but it didn't happen. This news of #12 was today on Scooters facebook site, but normally we get to know it on friday. So we know it already very soon this time.

I had very little hope that it would stay in the Top10, but in the end I think it's not a huge surprise that it has fallen out. But instead of being sad that it fell that much, we should be happy that it entered that high, which I didn't expect at all :thumbup:

The album has fallen rapidly, yes. But don't forget: It could reach a similar position or even climb a bit next week when "Ti sento" and the promotion around the album will have reached more non-fans. And even if it won't climb: JAOTW also fell rapidly in the second week though it was not even a top10-album, but nevertheless it reached gold in the end.
#2 has given a good sales basis,if the album stays also a long time in the charts (with the help of very good "TSAMH"+"Where the beats..."-single versions ;) ), it can also reach goldor even platinum.

especially "Where the beats..." could be a good album-promoting bomb and "The sound above..." would show another side of Scooter and the album (which is a bit necessary after so many jumpstyle/shuffle singles) - a sung track which is no "boring" ballad or "strange" dark/new wave song, but which has a catchy melody and the Scooter-feeling of the typical tracks.
But theyhave to change a few things:
-some more effects underneath HP's shouts in "Where the beats..." and a better C-Part
-more lyrics and melody + some kind of C-Part or better B-Parts (+ a C-Part) instead of the nervy "In my aaaaarms"-parts in "The sound above..."
I hope they'll make it because these two tracks could be real bombs as imrpoved versions, they have a great potential

Oh, Scooter fell that much... :S But it is just like that. We, big fans, bought the album right away so that's why they got the second place for the first week. Scooter ain't however that big a band that they would sell like hell from week to week. I'm happy though that they got the #2 entry and also #12 is pretty well. But it's not as good as this great new album deserves. ;( UTROTT is a great album. I really hope people will find it and buy it. It's a pleasure to listen to this great music.



But yeah, the charts ain't everything. ;) But it was good that Scooter's album was released before R+ 'cause after them it would have been extremely hard for Scooter to reach the #2 I think...

That's a fact, JAOTW wasn't very high in the charts, but was very long in the charts, so got a great sales number in the end. And Scooter have sold quite alot in the first 2 UTROTT weeks, so now the album has to stay lots of weeks in the charts, and than even with lower chartpositions it will achieve a great sales number. So let's hope the future singles help to keep interest in the album, so that it will stay in the charts ;)
