Judging from the samples, I won't like it. At all. Not the worst, but definitely one down there at the bottom.
It's astounding that they manage to move so far from the direction I'd like them to go in. I hoped for a more "mature" sound, without the horrible HPV, but this happy upbeat cr*p is seemingly, and sadly, here to stay.

(Is cr*p really so bad it needs to be censored? Ridiculous)

nothing special. It will never beat the old and creative albums (1994-2002).

good:
-HP is singing again ("The sound above..."; "Second Skin") - "The sound above..." could be a new I'm Raving - typical track with singing HP
-there is a bit more diversity than on "JAOTW"
-the album has somehow an electro-touched modern style that differs from other dance/techno albums
bad:
- a bit too much hpv, the hpv could even be better/"sweeter" in some tracks (Mark'Ohs hpv in his version of "stuck on you" in 004 sounded sweeter)
- a bit too much jumpstyle/melbourne shuffle-beats and melodies (a lot of tracks sound the same because of this beat-/melody-style)

ITS ONE OF THE BEST ALBUM EVER

After listening all samples I was suprised that its not just a jumpstyle like I think before. Most of the tracks have a hardstyle rhythm and some hardcore. In two songs ("the sound above my hair" and "second skin") is vocal of HP,sounds very good.I'm sure that UTROTT is a 100 times better then JAOTW.NO DOUBT.Is one of the best albums in Scooter career.

I agree, unfortunately. It doesn't sound good at all.

Really hard to say at this stage

But I have a feeling that this won't be one of my favourites. I'm sure I'm going to buy it and play the sh"t out of it, but I can't see myself loving it. There are certainly a number of songs that I really like the sound of, but as an album I'm not sure it'll work that well. All the songs seem to have the same bassline that JAH had. I'm also disappointed by the lack of instrumentals. Why is it that in the old days, we could expect half the album to be instrumentals whereas now we're lucky if we get two?

Wow, really? The more vocal tracks the better for me, I prefer the vocal tracks, but that's just my taste ofcourse. Reading this sentence made me very happy, yes, lot's of vocal tracks !!!! :) 8o

i think too many people (once again) had too many expectations of something different. i said before, if you make something up in your head to be amazing in reality it'll never be as good.

i thought it would be mostly hardstyle. i also love the effects on HP's voice, i said months ago that it would be cool to have these effects and they work really well

I think so too, it's always dangerous to imagine what one would like to get, because most of the time that doesn't become the truth, and one might get dissapointed because of that.

One of their Best Album, love that

:)
Give me the sound - to see
Another world outside that’s full of
All the broken things that I made

Just give me a life to bleed
Another world outside that’s full of
All the awful things that I made

"Here I go, out to rave again.
Hardcore fills the air, The Sound Above My Hair.
Lights in the sky and in my eyes.
You know it feels unfair,
there's party everywhere."
