Yes Daniel, you are right, I have been on that bus before and I am sure it still runs from the airport.

I have used that bus many times - I think it was 9 euro last time I used it - as Daniel says it's subsidised by Ryan air and times to run when the Ryan flights arrive (and back its timed for the departures) - it drops you off in the centre of Hamburg at the bus station, which is opposite the main railway station. :)

10 EUR. Be sure to have cash with you - there's no option to pay with plastic or foreign currency... trip takes ~1hr

Where
is the place we all meet and when? some of us has standing tickets and
ohter have seats. is the meetingn before or after the show? If after
should we decie a place ? I´m treveling alone and Hamburg is the only
show i will see, is there any one who is up for party after the show?
Any one know a good club or pub/bar? what is the dresscode in hamburg
nightlife (MEA maby could give us a clue) ? i will probly travel in
white shoes jeans and
collar shirt like the one in my profil picture and ofcurse my red whinterjacket. will i have the permission
to enter the pub/club? when "big" acts performs in malmö theres allways
a "official" party afterwards will there be one in hamburg for scooter?

I dont know how you guy´s and girls do this i´v been a reader and writer in this forum
since the begining under different
nic´s ( BU97, U96, Lie, UnKnOwN, Dr Anus and Lie (my birth name) i
first now have the chanse and will to commite to close my dreame to see
Scooter live! A and i´v followed Scooter since the begining (still
remeber first hearing back in 1994 when i wanted to catch U96 - Love
religon on tape from the swedish nrg-radio station chart-cowntdown and
Hyper hyper was played and i thougt what a crapy song
:D
) It was in 1995 i first thougt Scooter was a cool band whit Move yor
ass. it took a very long time before scooter become my nr 1 band. i´v
always been hoping for U96 to come back to blow our minds whit their
unique
sound so Scooter was for the most of the times my nr second project and
there alwaysave been artist to fill up the first place whit songs like
RMB - Spring , Music instructor break beat era, Mario Lopez - Sound´s
of nature , Blank&jones, Hypettraxx - drakside, scott project and
so on.. but Scooter has
grown in to a special place in my heartwhen they always had similar tracks and styles ( and often better than tracks than the one they got their inspiration from). And they have
survived
all other "techno" bands, artists and dj´s theres been and they will
propebly do for as long they will go on!! For me Scooter are legends
and it´s the same for all my friends, even thoe they not follow the
band they all know who Scoooter are and like their most songs. I have
one friend who said Elvis is king of rock MJ the king of pop and
Scooter The Kings of the dance floor! And for me I have many muisc
loves but the one whit Scooter never dies and that´s why they´v become
my nr 1!

I hope see as many forum members aspossible and we all have the evening of our life*!!!
cheers
Lie

I am up for any party if there is one with people from this forum!!

I have been scooter fan since 2002 and people around me always ridiculed me for liking Scooter but who cares. I am just looking forward to seeing the live show for the 1st time, and maybe to meet some ppl from this forum and share the experience with.

I know it is hard to come by, but any firm-ish plan for before /after the show is totally welcome. I am not an excellent traveler and Germany is new to me, but will be there for any good parrrrty xxx

P.S. I didn't know there is a dress code?? I will be wearing a Welsh flag, if that is OK??

Cause of the weekend there will be a lot clubs an pubs open in hamburg. depends of what kind of music you'd like to hear. if you want techno/hardcore/trance/hardstyle the best places would be "Docks" or "Tunnel". For electronic music "EGO", "Baalsaal" or "Neidklub" would be the best. For House check out "Halo" and "moondoo". At the district "St. Pauli" (where all those clubs are located) you'll also find a lot of bars (train stations "Reeperbahn" or "St. Pauli"). there's no real dresscode but you shouldn't show up like a bum ;) (Neidklub/mondoo might require a more classy/trendy outfit)

Another disctrict with lots of bars and small clubs (no techno/electro besides the "Übel & Gefährlich") is the "Schanzenviertel" (or short "Schanze") - train stations "Feldstrasse" and "Sternschanze".

hope that helps.
mea

edit: your outfit shown on your profile picture should be good enough for neary every club in Hamburg (exeption proves the rule)

edit 2: If you like small bars for/with students with alternative flair check out the "Hamburger Berg" (short: "Berg"/"Berch" [hamburger idiom]) - it's a byroad from the "Reeperbahn"

edit 3: seems like there's an afterparty (http://www.h1club.com/events/events.php?navid=00003) but there's nothing else near the club that you can visit - it's a little distance outside the center)

As some of us did in 2008, we will met all of us at the queue, it seems that the most of us are going to be there at about 13:30 - 14:30pm so we will have some hours to warm up before the concert, for sure we will try to be at the first row, and after the concert i think we will stay at the venue for some time and then... i don´t know, i have no need to hurry...

problem is that there are different queues...
one for standing room and two for unterrang/oberrang AFAIK

so I won't meet the guys who have standing room tickets, because I only have an unterrang ticket

That's a fact, and most forum members have the standing room tickets, me included.

I am very sure that I won't make it to the front as I am getting older and not so fast, and I doubt even if I did I would manage to stay there with such a huge crowd, so I am considering not going too early to this one, and aiming to be 10 or so rows back. There is an advantge to not being at the front I guess, you see the overall effects better :)

That's a fact, one sees the effects better in the 10th row, I was on my first concert in Hamburg like in the 8-10 row and could see the overall pyro show very well ;)

I also agree - get too close and everything is too in your face - from a few rows back, you still have a great view of the action but can take in the whole stage easier. :)

There are 3 ticket-categories: Unterrang (Lower Bowl), Oberrang (Upper Bowl), Innenraum (Standing-Tickets).

So, there will be opening 3 entrances:

For the “Unterrang”: E2

For the “Oberrang”: E1

For the “Innenraum”: E3

The doors open 6 pm and the concert starts at 8 pm

Yes, can't believe it's soon (one day later for me though)! :D

Even if I've said this many times in many topics: I won't even try to get to the front row, simply because I consider it a worse placement than having some distance to the stage. For all I know from experience, being some distance from the stage is much better -- the sound to me is much better, you can see everything happening, the crowd isn't as crazy, and so on. I will probably stay 20 rows away or so.
 This is a signature.
