Will Scooter arrive with a new style?

Hello folks,

after the success of the jumpstyle chapter I am aksing myself wheather Scooter will go on as usal (before the jumpstyle chapter) or wheather they will arrive with a new style of music they did not tried before or a new style of dance that is rather unkown as jumpstyle was.

As Scooter is a bit commercially oriantated I presume they will comming with something new.

On the one hand I would like to see Scooter comming with a new style (music or dance style) but one the other hand I would like to see Scooter as they have been before the jumpstyle chapter.

Whats your opinion? Is Scooter comming with a new style or will they go back to the roots?

I remember a video where Scooter were asked what the new album will be like and I remember HP saying smth like "we don't tell ya, because we are going to be the first musicians to come up with this style of music"
AFAIK...

But I think they were jocking...

personally I prefer a NEW STYLE with some old hardcorish tracks and b-sides/instrumental like the 3rd/2nd chapter.

I'm fine as long as it isn't jumpstyle. I think it'll be something they haven't done before.

I think we have 4 variants:

1. Jumpstyle again (but H.P. said it's not Jumpstyle album)
2. Old-good Scooter-style
3. Hardstyle
4. UK Hardcore (I think we have a big chance to hear this from Scooter this time)

I think it will be hardcore. Scooter have just had huge success in the UK. UK is known for it's hardcore scene. Scooter will take advantage of this and re-build their success in the UK's comfort zone. But they better do it right otherwise it'll be a big mistake. I also think we might hear a slow kind of mellow track too.

I think it will be Hardstyle.

But I would also not be surprised when we get UK Hardcore or even something like the Happy Hardcore style. :)

Indeed -- I too think there'll be hardstyle and hopefully and possibly some UK hardcore. It'd be nice if they surprised us with some happy hardcore, after all this time... :D But anyway, the whole album doesn't have to be in one style, there may be several styles. I hope it'll be the hardest Scooter album up to date. :D

I hope Scooter has find some exciting new style again. As for me the jumpstyle album has been loved and carefully listened. So something new but though scooterish. I'm sure it'll also be like that as usual.

I think everybody understand that this is will NOT be ;) It will not be classic happy hardcore, it will not be hardcore. Compare to the previous album. Maximum it will be UK Hardcore. But anyway I need something new from Scooter!!! NOW!!! :))

I would love to hear new styles, sounds and combinations we have never heard before in techno/electric/dance songs.
Some strange thinks, some fantastic things, some suprising things and electronic music in an new way.
Scooter is the only techno/electronica act/group/dj I listen to, because in my opinion Scooter is the only one, who dares to try out new things (mostly in the albumsongs, unfortunately rarely in the singles) in the technoscene and who doesn't sound like any other dj out there.

I think, Scooter has good qualifications (experiences, skills, the technique/studio, interests in other musicstyles, passion for creating music, enough money) to try new steps. And I don't mean transforming an existing style into "Scooter-Style"...
Take your passion, let your ideas flow and make something new...

How about mixing a real orchestra with techno and HP's voice? (Metallica was able to work with an orchestra, why not Scooter)
How about sounds flipping and jumping through the stereofield of a song and making you crazy?
How about some medieval touches (like bands like "In Extremo", "Subway to Sally" for example do)? Some real cool unknown instruments or instruments played in an unkown way?

Scooter created one of the first techno-ballads (Break it up);
used a E-guitar-riff in a techno/dance song ("Fire") in a way, no one did before...

Yeah, Scooter did some cool new stuff in the pass. Scooter made some suprises... but I think, with their qualifications they can do much more.

I still hope, they will make a real big step, but... i don't know, my feelings don't believe in that any more.
To keep their typical style is good... but no step further.

Where are the influences of the music of different cultures? (it isn't impossible to put such influences in techno/electronica songs) Who else should be able to deal with it, if not Scooter?
