i really wish the UK would pull out of eurovision.

we put the most money into it yet still get laughed out every year. same with germany and france.

Yes I heard this. He wasn't presenting the results though.

On the German TV was a short interview with HP about the contest, right after the show. HP said that he and the jury predicted that either Norway or Iceland would win, but that they were surprised that Malta got so litle points. The interview was on a stage in Hamburg where there was some sort of aftershow eurovision party. So the evening of the final the jury wasn't in Russia, but in Hamburg.
