Why don't you compare the ladies in both contries?
In USA every second or third woman is fat, but so is in Germany, isn't it?

P.S. No offense to any ladies from usa or germany in the forum!
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide

...damned Canadians.

Anyways, here is some big similarities. Moshpits and metal music, we all love them. The differences? Most who listens to metal are litereally social outcasts most of the time. From what I have read,

Strange that many Americans hate Canadians.
Can some yankee guy give a detailed explaination for this? :)

After all, both are descendants of English / French / Portuguese explorers...

Personally, from my own experiences, I find some Americans quite rude. I love the country but when I was out there we were in a gated community and we had a newsletter which constantly said 'the greatest nation in the world' etc. and it just made me think about how cut off they are from reality. I've met some great people from the US and I have many friends living there but some are just a little creepy.

The Brits, I think, will be the first ones to slag off their own country. We're proud only when it comes to sporting events

I LOVE Germany. Went to Hamburg and Berlin last year and it was great. The people there are so much like the Brits. Such similar people. I don't know why we don't get along all the time.

European alcohol will trump US alcohol any day.

I have no interest in visiting America to be honest. But Germany is among the countries I'd like to visit most!

Anyone here been to Australia and loved it? Or New Zealand? I loved New Zealand.

As a Brit I'd most certainly like to visit Aus and NZ. After all , any country who's flag has the Union Jack is a subject of HM the Queen  .

But I would really like to see the sites, new and old. The stand-up scene there is wicked too. I'm soooo gutted today, I found out that Rhod Gilbert (my fav. comedian) was doing a gig in my hometown but all the tickets sold out in a day :(

NZ defo for the views of the mountains, wow!

Whether America is or isn't the greatest country...I couldn't really give a shit. Sure, things suck here, but I love it through and through.

I personally love the rudeness. Makes one tough I think.

We don't hate the canadians, we just like to pic on them a bit. Although, they do come down to the south and can't drive worth a damn. If your going to go far away, learn how THEY drive.

Sorry you got turned off when you lived here Nic.

To be honest, I want to visit Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Japan, Australia, and ...well, that last part is private ^_^

tbh i don't care either but personally i wouldn't call myself the greatest at anything, it's upto others to decide, so it's the big-headedness i dislike i guess.

Damn right! So everyone, whenever you go to england you must get manual transmission and drive on the left. I suggest you practise in your home country first

I'm quite well-travelled and there aren't many places left for me to go to. My favourites are: Tunisia, Ibiza, Finland, Germany, Fuerteventura and Cyprus.

I can't even imagine a car with auto-transmission
I've never been to England but I guess it wouldn't be a problem keeping with the left-side driving. Only the roundabouts could cause a problem :P
