Called ticketmaster today asking how to get refund, and I was told that they refund EVERYTHING, including handling charge!!

Thats good news for people that want a refund.
I heard to post them back in Ireland a normal stamp works but not so sure outside Ireland.I assume a normal stamp to Ireland would be ok

I mean in case some people think of signed for postage service.

If there are English dates I can go to on the tour probably not, I can make a lot of place in the England without needing a hotel or flight, so England will be a lot cheaper andeasier for me, but I'll have to see what the dates / venues are before I can decide.

I would like to go to 3 of the concerts if possible :) . If Ireland is at a weekend and I can't get time off work to go to others them I might, but have to wait for the full list to decide. Also Will will be at school in September, so he might not be able to travel far :)

Yeah, I was thinking like that, Sandra. I really do hope there will be a tour in UK.

I would also send the ticket recorded (signed for) / special. You never know with Royal Mail...

Early September can be as good as summer in Ireland so that would be nice for travelling.
I would love the tour to be in the summer for long bright evenings to travel in :)

I know - I always tend to use signed for these days to anywhere where there is any doubt, but as the Ireland tickets are worth nearly 200 euro its certainly worth using signed for

I knew Dublin is super expensive and that's exactly why I just chucked all, hotel, flights etc. and skipped the trip. It's even worse now GBP is so weak against Euro.

Well to be fair you try the other side of the coin having stuff double the price it is in the uk.

Also if your staying in Dublin city or where you where(i think it was you)it will be more.
I also did say to someone(again i think this was you) that booking a hotel where the gig was very expensive and i was told this saves on taxis.

Finally I have seen hotels where €134 that's because its valentines, you look up a hotel for say autumn and I bet it wont be more than €70.

This is the price of things in Dublin, how much are the same items in your town?

Ok breakfast can be gotten cheaper that's up to the person to shop around.
But cigarettes and alcohol are taxed so that is our governments fault.

I have yet to travel to other cities but i assume if you go to places recommend to tourists then you will pay much more.

Also the main street of Dublin is not so nice, it it all concrete now no more trees

i can get breakfast in glasgow for £3 for full scottish breakfast . fish and chips for £3 . beer at £2 per pint . just depends on where you go . dublin was overall a very nice city .

Well that could be because the pound is so or was so strong.

Ah Dublin is not as nice as it used to be.I think people need to see some of the city and a lot more of surrounding area.

I looked around and the cheapest hotel in city centre was around 47, and the hotel I found near the venue was 57. As I took your advice and thought about taxi etc. and decided 10Euro more would work out better for me. I was only going to Dublin for the show, so it's natural to cancel the whole thing for me, especially when I know everything in Dublin is rather costly, and I am poor
