Wasn´t they in the states last year?

I hope they will come to my country someday, they havent been here since 99 or something..

But I hope they will make it in the states like they did in the UK and maybe then a lot of people will get to know them and hopefully like them :D

Let's hope for a world wide tuor this year or next year..

People aren't really too much aware in my country (USA) of Scooter, I think a world tour would be great to make people more aware of Scooter. There seems to be somewhat of an aversion for Techno/Dance music in my country. It seems to be somewhat of a small niche. My country seems to be enthralled with rap that proliferates violence, illegal drug use, the selling of drugs, and misogyny. I however like all forms of music Mozart, Beethoven, Disturbed, T.I., The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Used, P.O.D., B.B. King, Nobou Uematsu, and Tiesto. But, My favorite band just so happens to be SCOOTER, The Best Band In The World. I also would like to let people from other countrys know that not all Americans are ridiculous, just most of them.

I was lucky enough to get the chance to see Scooter live... In the US  (amazing) but with allllllll the drama associated with last years "fiasco" in NY/CT... I really have a hard time believing they'll come back anytime soon. :(

Yes with what happened last year it makes it hard to believe they would go back but maybe with a different promoter they would, but hopefully for all the fans in the US they will go back

As far as I remember HP said right after the Clubland tour something about a tour in US.

Well.. Let me just go back and quote everything I've said about the issue over the past months.

Not to bitch and moan or anything.. This was just my experience with it.. (and like I've said.. I still had an amazing time at the show!)

Post 1

Quoted from ""CanobieFan""

Well.. being on the few who went to the Hartford show (amazing)

There was A LOT of drama.. One guy was even running around saying if they let anyone else in.. He would call the show off! There was no opener.. I guess someone set up the wrong turntables and he STORMED OFF STAGE (like a b###h) and didnt do anything.. So after they let everyone in.. We all just kinda stood inside for about 3 hours... yes hours.. listening to the same 6 or 7 songs looped over and over until Scooter came out.

Once Scooter came out the set was short.. It was just over an hour.. The sound wasn't that great....

But it was still amazing to be 2 feet from the band and in a room with less than 100 people in it.. All just there to see Scooter. It felt very private/VIP like it was "our" Scooter show.... But for the price of the tickets it came down to like $1 a minute. (((And I was the very first person to buy a ticket.. and got the stub to prove it! :D :D :D )))

( photos from CT show can be seen here http://www.scootertechno.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15959&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 )

post 2

Quoted from ""CanobieFan""

I just got home as well.

Outside of the front-door DRAMA... Not getting inside to well after 8.45 (tickets said 8!)... And uh.. lack of any opener act???? --- The show was great.

post 3

Quoted from ""CanobieFan""

Anyways... What was the deal with Vic? My friend saw some guy get pissy on stage over "missing turntables" but I was still LOCKED OUTSIDE (in the 21+ line) due to door-drama... So I didnt see what happened... So why let everyone in around 9.. for a show that didnt start till 11? :?

Pretty much. the TWO NYC shows became just ONE... and the CT show lacked an opener act (Vic stormed off stage) and after this promoter kept threatening to cancel the show an hour or so before it was to start..... They let us in.. Just to stand around for HOURS before Scooter came out.. to play a very short set in front of about 100 people, maybe.

And not the best of stage setups or sound quality. It was just all kinds of bad...

But I stilled loved my almost private front row scooter concert.

I was just thinking about you earlier Tony - 5 years ago when we first met in Hamburg - and the night in December 2004 when that avatar picture was taken at the Tunnel - I hope you and your family are good :)
