Scooter! Where do we go???

I'm sorry to say this, but Scooter's new single Shake That is a total failure! It's a bunch of c**p :( in my opinion.

The track is good on it's own. Also the lyrics. But this is NOT Scooter's style!!
What the hell, they think they can play us fools until end of time?! :? NO F*CKING WAY!!!

Scooter, are you selling yourself to fashion and dance mainstream??
Money is more important for you than your fans' respect?!

Can't you see the future?! TV and music programmes will identify you as a "lousy pop-dance group"! I don't want to hear such bullsh*t!

I beg on my knees, PLEASE DO NOT change yourselves!! Be the ones who you are! The kings of music! With your unique SCOOTER style!
PLEASE! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!!

*(sorry for opening another topic)*

Okay, so you like the track but you say that itīs a piece of shit just because itīs not Scooter style???

I understand that partly, cos I was disappointed in the beginning because this is not what we expected. But I like the song, itīs getting addictive, so why say that itīs a piece of shit?????

Why should Scooter be remembered as a lousy pop band? Because of 1 song among more than 100????

You say that they play us fools all the time? Why donīt you go and produce the music that you expected??? But please stop complaining!!!

I read that in various topics from you now and I must say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!! We all know your opinion now. Nobody forces you to listen to Shake that! Nobody forces you to be a Scooter fan. Just stop crying now!!!

One point where I agree: I also hope that they do not change their style completely. This different single, the rumours about an album full of experiments and even a new logo make me worry. But just wait and see. So far we know only 1 single. And you canīt say that you like it and in the next sentence you say that itīs a piece of crap.

I hope this is the last topic like this, I canīt read it anymore.

Sorry if this sounds rude, I donīt want to be, I just had to write my feelings down. Please wait for the album before you complain.

I really can see what your saying, Imre but i don't think you have anything to worry about at all.

Scooter won't turn into a pop disco group. Trust me. They have roots. Roots in techno, rave and now trance. You can't change that over night.

What is this?? Don't be angry!
Scooter is trying to do other things, just try, they have also tried She's the Sun and Break It Up!.

I don't understand you guys! They have to release an other song. Always the same music is even bad!

Just try Scooter

So respect to SCOOTER please!

Okay, so you like the track but you say that itīs a piece of S##t just because itīs not Scooter style???

I just think H.P.'s vocals don't fit this music... Scooter's name means hard and kicking tunes, not this :(

Quoted from ""Hennes""

Why should Scooter be remembered as a lousy pop band? Because of 1 song among more than 100????

Because the most part of the audience (TV viewers, radio listeners) only know the latest songs, and the programmes never refer to old tracks. I never hear on TV something like "Scooter, who started with Hyper Hyper...", I only hear "Scooter, the author of today's big hit...". I don't want them to be underestimated!

Quoted from ""Hennes""

You say that they play us fools all the time? Why donīt you go and produce the music that you expected??? But please stop complaining!!!

Of course I can't tell them what to do, but most of the fans were disappointed by the lots of ripoffs and covers, they screamed for originality, and they still did not ever care about us. OK, it's not really my opinion cos I'm not a coverfreak, but I saw what's going on...

I don't cry, I'm just warning them. I remain as a Scooter-fan, no track or change can stop me from keeping up with them. I just have fear for their fame! I think that's not really a sin. I want them to be the best of their good Scootertechno style! No dance-like funkhouse or other! It doesn't fit them...

pjad_uk, Dennis: of course they can "try" one change. But H.P. said the whole new album will completely differ from the others, and that scared me a bit  :?

Yes, Imre. But it's only one album. H.P never said they were going to become a disco group. Whether this new album is unpopular or not i'm sure Scooter will bounce back with something more familiar next time. In every chapter Scooter always have a year of experimentation ... Everything will be fine. Trust me.

Donīt agree. I think the vocals fit. And not all tunes were hard and kicking, not even all singles. Scooter also made great trance tracks and even ballads. I suppose you hate them all, too?

Scooter donīt care what others think about them and I thought we fans do neither...

I think the cover topic was discussed to all extends now. We should leave that.

Again, this is only 1 track. The album will have 12 again, donīt judge about things that you donīt know and donīt overgeneralize. I think itll be an album like "Sheffield" with many different styles.

I like some of their ballads :)
And the trancey tunes are good, I have no problems with those.

Of course I don't care what others think of Scooter... yeah maybe I got even myself confused now :? I can't really explain.

And Amen to your words about the album. I hope they don't continue this style.

And by the way, I only wrote 2 times that I don't like the single. So no "various topics" :)

That's the problem with some people, first they dislike it and when it is a big hit they love it. Not Fair, I think

But it's only one album.

Hopefully. But you are forgetting one thing: there are a lot of fans who buy every album. They probably like techno (not disco/house), why would they buy the cd then? But they also like Scooter. Yet if the style on the new album is completely different, they are in doubt: be a "scooter-fan" and buy the album in spite of the bad music on it, or not buy it and risk the reputation of a "bad scooter-fan". We've had discussions regarding "being a true scooter-fan" and never reached any substantial conclusions. Thus this can lead into more idiotic arguing about someone not being a "true scooter-fan", because she/he didn't buy the latest album.

Besides, I was listening to OHH today. Do you remember Monstertune? Play nothing but hardcore...

It is great to try something different - they have to move on sometimes.

Scooter will not forget their fans - but they cannot produce the same all the time.

can't wait for the album :)
