I wasn't talking about germany  I thought it reached gold in sweden. probabably gold overthere doesn't mean as many sales as in germany but it's gold

Aha...OK....and yes Gold is Gold, it always shows how much a certain country loves a track. Good to hear that it got gold atleast in one country, I didn't know about that. 8) But it deserved to get gold in more country's,

Yes, gold status has its value in each country. But in bigger countries you have more soled copies if you reach gold. If a single or an album gets gold in the USA, in the UK, in France, in Spain, in Italy and in Germany you'll make a lot of money with only one release and you'll soon have over a million of soled copies. That's why artists like Linkin Park or Britney Spears have such big sales numbers - they have success on each important market.

Somehow I've got the same idea. I hope we won't be disappointed. :) But I'm sure we won't be. I hope the album will be just massive, showing everyone Scooter's still got it. :D At least I think I'll like it more than JAOTW, proving the new album won't be jumpstyle...

I also have a similar feeling.......now let's only hope that much people will appreciate the quality when it will be out in stores......it would be a pitty if an excellent album wouldn't sell well, I'm still very sad about the lack of succes of the TUAO album, which was extremely good in my opinion.

Yeah, and I'm so sad they never played any more of it live than BTC and LUTS. I so waited to hear Ratty's Revenge and tracks like that live, but no! Can't understand...

Yes, I hoped for some track's this tour, but they only played LUT on the JAOTW tour......a pitty, because I would also love to hear Ratty's Revenge, TSTKE etc. :( I also can't understand why they didn't play more track's from this great album. :( :( It's also very strange that they didn't played BTC, it was the first track of this chapter, so it should have been played on the first tour of this chapter........maybe in the future they will play some, because they this year played Roll Baby Roll as a surprise....let's hope so.....

I would like to hear tracks like Scarborough Affair and Ratty's Revenge being played, cos they are good tracks, but I dislike the parts in both tracks sung by Nikk...

I think those parts ruins the tracks, especially Ratty's Revenge.
No critique about Nikk, but still...

The older they get the more childish the tracks. Next album will be the The Kindergarten Sesamestreet Experience for children till 4 years.

with children techno they earn most money. Teens don't have requirement of creative music, they just buy because good sound or because jumpstyle is trendy.
This is why they do more and more cheap commercial children-techno

How do you define ''children techno''?

It's when you feel ashamed while listening to a track. Like TQIWITQ.

Just listen to Faster Harder Scooter, Move Your Ass, Fire, Manana and afterwards And No Matches or The Question Is What Is The Question.
the children-level difference should be unmistakable!

the same works with albums like We Bring The Noise, No Time To Chill, BTTHWJ and children techno album like Jumping All Over The World...

Well, in my case ''children-level'' becomes ''happiness-level'' Yes, there are not many phrases that make sense in TQIWITQ, but is there a real meaning behind the lyrics of Faster Harder Scooter either? For me there isn't, same goes with Fire, MYA has some meaning to me. Faster Harder Scooter (and many older songs) sounds ''serious'' to my ears and The Question sounds happy, not very much more childish than FHS. But pretty stupid thing to argue about really, each person has his own point of view.

I was just thinking this afternoon, that the jumping tracks are very young targetted. I'm nearly 27 and I do have such a feeling like those tracks aren't meant to please ME, with that age  Know what I mean ? 13s would be more suitable ;)
Under 15s are good for marketting, because when they want to see Scooter live, they must be accompagnied, more tickets sales guaranteed  I'm talking bullshït there, but the joke was too obvious to avoid it

It's true, the track's are a bit more childish maybe...but that also makes them more happy and joyfull.......after lack of succes with the last album Scooter needed to gain some new fans to secure a longterm future, with a typicall classicall Scooter album that wouldn't have been the case I'm afraid....for sure the whole forum would have loved such an album, but the succes wouldn't be as big as this JAOTW album......the album has really grown on me during the year, and therefor it got much higher in the favourite album list than it was at the beginning.......that's the strength this album has, it's not love at the first sight, but the love starts building up slowely during a year.....no other album had that effect on me before.

But also to note, wherever Scooter plays the majority of crowds is always like 20+. Not so teen/kid. I like that the music sounds good (Scooter does, yes), but I don't think teens/kids would listen to just anything... At least not all. I don't really see any "children-level" in music either (a lot death metal can be rather corny), unless it's especially made childrens' songs and you should definitely see the difference that Scooter is not such. I think seriousness in music is rather pointless idea to begin with, it is all childish in my eyes, only 'serious' music is ritual music and music dedicated to worshipping of gods. Yeah, as said, they key word is joyfulness; JAOTW is very uplifting and not by accident. It takes some skill to create an album that tops the UK charts. :)
