The main melody in the old LUTS is quite good, maybe they could use it in one of the next singles.

I'm pretty sure they will never use a melody from their earlier song in a new song... :roll:

Anyway, good ideas here. I too hope there won't be HPV! Or at least if there's HPV then absolutely no jumpstyle with it. As Maddy said, acid!

And as Sandra said, I too think the next single will be a surprise (of course, I don't think anybody thinks they would release something from JAOTW when they're working on a new album...)! Hopefully we'll hear some news soon.

First Scooter have to rest for a while....they have had a very intensive year whit much concerts and so on, so they are quite tired at the moment........also the HOS album will be released soon....so it's still some months to go I recon, before we get some news about the single.......I think in the autumn, but ofcourse I might be proven wrong.....but I don't expect any news in the comming months.

Rest? yes, cause it's christmas. but that's all. they didn't made that many new tracks this year. instead of this they are re-releasing albums and hit collections over and over again. yeah, that's hard working :roll: they are working on new material as hp said so the new album probably won't be released in autumn. then they 2 years for 1 album. almost the same like with tste and that wasn't a masterpiece at all. and the delay was the cause of the unexpected success in the uk and australia. now the also visit the usa. I understand it takes time and at the age of the guys it ain't that simple to recover from jetlag. but they shouldn't forget the german (and other european countries where they were popular more than the uk) and the older fans that made them big. work or take pause but don't re-release everything over and over again just to earn money and to pass the time for the (a lot of stupid fans who will buy everything 10 times)fans. as I said before. new single around March, second single around May, new album aroun June and 3rd single about August would perfect fit if they really are working on a new album like hp said.

That schedule would be fine with me, but also to note, they have made 13 albums in 15 years... Sure, I can never get enough Scooter tracks, but they are extremely profilic compared to most bands. I hope we'lll get a summer album this year, the chances are good I think. Or spring.

A spring/summer album would be great, yes :wink:

Spring is too early,I prefer to wait longer for some better stuff. New single should be released at the end of the summer,and the album somewhere in september. It would be a MASTERPIECE,something similar to WBTN or TSTE

Waiting longer doesn't always means better stuff......because excellent track's can be made very quick if one has the right ideas at the right moment.

Yep, IMO it's the ideas that decides, not the time.
Short time and good ideas is better than long time and maybe no ideas, even though you can get many good ideas by taking your time.

I think "Watch Out" and "Logical Song" sound very much the same, just one with vocals

I've noticed that too, the main melody in the 2 tracks is very similar.

I've had a feeling that the melody in Watch Out was similar to something I have heard before, since I heard Ramp first...
It's likely that it's the same melody, with some changes.

there's a similar sound in dusty vinyl and I'll put you on the guestlist too. I discovered it last week. and offcourse the last album has a lot of track with same synths and the last 6 years the frequently use the same bassline.

that's what I meant with similar basslines during the last 6 years :wink: some others with the similar bassline: weekend, scarborough affair, one, I'm lonely (single version), ...

I would prefer new stuff to LUTS of course. But this one would be a lot better than releasing another totally rip-of song again. Lighten Up The Sky sounds a lot more self made than the last 5 singles.
It´s the same with Habanera... (which is a cover too, but classic-covers are pretty cool in my opnion).
Are there any people who believe, Habanera would have been better than Nessaja??? Of course it reached #1 but Habanera had this difference, making Scooter interesting...
