well in belgium we still have some pride with sylver and lasgo.

Lasgo is great, I have all their albums....I really like their music. 8)

I don't have their albums but their singles are so progessiver every time. even if they changed from front girl or boy, it was always a quality track. btw the first singer, Evy, was also the frontgirl in 1999 and 2000 of 2 fabiola  but it's normal in the belgian dance scene.

I don't think it means anything, they've often had songs that weren't singles on compilations.

Scooter was successful till the start! I think they always had a lot of money and no problems with it. But they hand to pleasure only their first fans, that fans who loved first Scooter sounds. Do ya understand what I mean? :)) They was 'REAL', they loved what they did. Nowadays Scooter creating tracks for a much more larger audience. I think they are not doing the music for themeselfes and for those who loved their FIRST sound. They are doing music for the masses now, for too many people with too different tastes. That's my thoughts. And this is a problem of all the artists who become SUPER STARS and want more and more success and more and more money.

But I still hope that someday Scooter will say: "OK, that's it. We're tired of this uncreative clones. Let's do something different, something that WE will like!". I think that's how it used to be with BTTHWJ album!! It was REAL something!!

Don't get me wrong, I love SOME of new material, but I don't like commercial jump and all this pop oriented large audience simple music.

B-sides are still made be happy for some time and some album tracks. Also I like single version of I'm Lonely.

I think they still like or even the tracks they produce:
-Two of HP's favourite tracks are "Call me Manana" and "Lass uns tanzen", both no tracks from the beginning
-Rick's favourite track is "Jigga, Jigga!" - not a track from the beginning either
By the way: Scooter's first tracks were not very differnet from the tracks today (similar constructions, also happy and melodic tunes, HP's shouts...), especially jumpstyle is very close to the happy hardcore roots - easy, uncomlicated, happy (HP also said that in an interview)

@Mr Hyper
commercial jumpstyle and commercial happy hardcore have things common yes. but in the past scooter made their own thing around happy hardcore. they didn't follow the mass (or better they follew the mass in their own way or ignored it like the jumpmadness around the millennium) and worked hard. compare the structure of let me be your valinte with jaotw. jaotw is inclusive lyrics and music 80% copy paste. let me be your valentine is so damn good. different structuru, different basslines in the song, different basslines compared with ohter songs, freshnes, hard, fast, not commercial,...

scooter always mentioned, that in the past they, as already said, ignored the oppinoin of the mainstream. They were not producing mainstream-music.

But thinks are changing atm, theire focus is just fixed on the mainstream now and not on what the project was fixed in the early times.

Why do you guys care so much? It's their project, they can do whatever they want with it.

compare it with the evolution of a human being. than you can say that the guys are on the bad side of life for a while now. thanks to the older fans hp can drive his oldtimers. and how does the band repay? with being as lazy as they can be. if they could do it once then they could do it again!

I'm not saying they couldn't, I definitely think they could. It's just that they want to spread their music to as wide an audience as possible -- I think they've said this one too. :) But you never know what's next... :D As for old fans, they bought the records then and I'm sure guys are grateful, but they can't determine all their future based on what some crowd back in the 20th century liked. :)

Scooter is moving on, like bands do, like they have to do to stay tuned.

Not everyone can like the same style/sound/genre, we're all different, but Scooter can't satisfy every single fan.
Personally, I dislike most of what they made on ATBGO! and AOL, around that era, like others may dislike today's Scooter, with jump and claps.

well ofcourse we know that the old happy hardcore days won't come back. they tried it with 'all I wanna do' and that was far below the level of move your ass. but check 2 fabiola -blow me away. that's a track made this summer in style of 10 years ago. just updated. that's what scooter should do too in my opinion.

See Me Feel Me was also released once on a compilation, but it didn't become a single.....so I think this time it's the same case.

Just checked it. Ok tune but Scooter should produce something harder! Bring back the feeling of the 2nd chapter! 8)

ofcourse otherwise it wouldn't be scooter  but I just love that track cause it's just an updated sound and not a commercial jumpstyle track cause it would have more potential to sell. I just want scooter go back to their roots. updated sounds and following trends in their own way not just copy them or just ignore trends.

dreaming of something like posse (i need you) just without highpitch and with bagpipe :-D

maybe it would not be a top 10 hit, but i love scooter for this kind of music and not for the chartentrys :-)

Yeah, I'd love something like that too :D

At least, singles with the style of FHS, Posse, Aii Shot The DJ, The Chaser, Take A Break... etc.
I miss that style...

I'm really very curious how the new single will sound....will it be something totaly new in a new style, or will it be based on older Scooter sounds / styles used before?.....both is possible.........but for sure it will have the Scooter vibe and sound in it. :)

Like all of their stuff, it will sound like Scooter no matter the style :D

I wonder when we'll get some news... I hope for it soon.

i too am very interested. have they exhausted the jumpstyle sound? can they squeeze any more popularity out of this amazing dance? Or is it time for a change. I don't think we've had an album that has had the same style as the previous one before. The waiting game is one I often get frustrated with...
