i agree...jumpstyle has been and gone, now would be a good time to leave it behind and they have gained everything possible out of it :)

I think Scooter will never sell their souls. Every style Scooter did make was always addapted to fit within Scooter and the music always had the Scooter feeling in it, no matter what style they used. Some styles were better, some maybe a litle bit worse, but every style was Scooterised.

I think Scooter will never sell their souls. Every style Scooter did make was always addapted to fit within Scooter and the music always had the Scooter feeling in it, no matter what style they used. Some styles were better, some maybe a litle bit worse, but every style was Scooterised.
yes,this is the true,Scooter created many songs in different style but in their on way 8) . The same thing was with the jumpstyle,but unfortunately this one is not for Scooter. Simply it don't fits. But I agree with Ed :) Let's hope for some techno,hardstyle and trance on the new album :!:

Do you mean that the jump style is new for Finnish people but more played in Central Europe?

Yes, I really have liked almost all the band has made. :oops: There are couple of songs that aren't very good IMO but there are very god traxx on all albums. :)

yes, that's what I meant. It's the same with UK etc... a lot of people in those countries think it's something brilliant but scooter made that music after the hype in belgium and holland. and scooter had the success with it cause a lot of people who don't know the style (and jeckyl & hyde) think it's something new and fresh and it ain't fresh at all. the latest album has +- 5 tracks with the same synths. that's really lazyness in my opinion. but most of the fans disagree with my opinion :wink:

But the strange thing is that Jeckyl & Hyde's single was released in Germany quite a while before Scooter's TQIWITQ and it had no real chart succes as I can recollect....but when Scooter released TQIWITQ, they had huge succes with it with the jumpstyle style

So could it be that without Scooter jumpstyle wouldn't be popular at all in Germany?

What if the guys just thought that the actual synths fitted good into the actual tracks?

Everyone has his/her own opinions, but I don't think it's quite right to call them lazy for using the same synths in several tracks just because they may like it, or may have the opinion that it's good.

I think it's time for them to again make music they like themselves, and not just music to follow everyone's wishes, cos what's the point making music you don't like yourself?

Axel Coon always uses same synths, bass, clap etc. and all his tracks sounds great with power and energy. And many artists have their trademarks, and that's a cool thing. I too use some samples over and over again :wink:

not true. When Jeckyl & Hyde released "Frozen Flame" and the huge follow up "Freefall" in Germany, the most DJs used the tunes in their sets in the clubs and everytime, the crowd goes wild. Many of them learned on this two tracks Jumpstyle. The style was already before Scooter very popular in Germany.

Scooter only used this huge hype. Sad, that many tv-stations thought, that Scooter has bring the jumpstyle to germany. =|

Maybe I'm deaf, but I can't hear any of the tracks having the same synths... :roll:

As for doing what they like themselves, I think it's obvious they liked jumpstyle, they heard it, they wanted to try it out, its happiness reminded them of the old days. :D

I can't see the problem with the fact that they used the same synth in those 5 tracks.
IMO it fits well to each track, so I don't see any reason to make it a big problem...

Well, I don't care if the sound is fresh or not. I just liked what I heard when listening to the Jump album. I dunno so much about styles and stuff. I just listen to all the music I like no matter what's the style. :wink:

What aganim says is true.
For example, you won't hear the same synths or whatever being used in the same way in any of the best Scooter albums.
