the label all around the world had their reason, why they had stopped the sales and re-release the single later. Overall, it was a mistake. Every company makes a mistake, so blame they not.

But this could have been easily a christmas number one what with it using a big status quo song.
If not for christmas then a live video on the cd and a sticker to promote the irish tour.
AATW are forever making mistakes so its hard not to blame them.

Sorry, the Christmas #1 is always going to be the X Factor nonsense, because it's had months worth of promotion, it's always going to be the biggest seller of the year, or one of them. It's going to take something massive to stop it. And in my opinion, JTR is a top 10 single at best, which it would have achieved if AATW hadn't changed their mind about the release. But it was never going to be a Christmas #1.

im sure status quo where not to happy either.
They had a cd out around it and if it was done properly could have sold some more of that cd to.

I really love the Telecaster club mix. Certainly one of my favourite club mixes (along with 'fresh off the plane').

PS could someone fix up the spell check on this thing. we're no American here. :D
