Perhaps, but I'm not a collector, all I care is to buy the material once and in some form, preferably cd.

For me the most important thing is the music, and to listen to it I am happy to buy from iTunes, because 85% of my listening is via iTunes (either computer or an iPod) - it would have been a higher percentage, but I have had a UK JAOTW CD in my car since it was released, and I do listen to that a lot when driving. :D

For me CDs and vinyls are special and for my collection - but apart from Scooter I buy just about everything for listening to on-line now :) , but there is a certain pleasure in actually getting out a rare release or promo and playing it :)

I have to admit that most of the recent Scooter releases that I actually listen to (apart from UK JAOTW CD that I have played 100s of times) have been bought on-line, because I want to hear them as soon as possible :)

Indeed, what I also (obviously) think, it's the music that's important, not in which form it's bought, physical or digital.

I love my collection, but I only collect the CDs because it means I can play them whenever. A very dear of friend of mine only downloads, she has no cds now. Yesterday her laptop broke and now she can't listen to any music, apart from her mp3 player! Poor girl. Whereas when my laptop breaks, I still have the important stuff to listen to on cd! :D

Also, just to clarify the point I was trying to make earlier. I said that paying with currency other than Euro is slightly more expensive, but that's only because the currencies don't translate exactly, like 10€ doesn't have an exact value in £, it's not the site trying to get more money or anything like that.

Down the bottom it says "track your order" or "where's my stuff" or something like that. Then after you click it, it will ask you to log in.

Hm... well, when I enter amazon.co.uk it stands Hello and my name, but when I do as you say, I'm asked to enter, so I guess it's okay then... :?

wait a minute. Does I understand it right? You buy the CD and Vinyl of a release, ok. But you also buy the same release which you have on CD/Vinyl again at iTunes?

I try to get all releases on Cd and vinyl if possible but I did not buy at iTunes, I hate downloads, I would buy them only if they are not to get on CD, later I have then problems to find it. :(

It depends how long it takes to get the actual vinyl / CD - if I can get it from iTunes earlier then yes - although thats probably not the case on Oct 3, as Amazon now do International Express - but if I have to wait a week or more then I will probably buy on iTunes as soon as its released

Yes, I also prefer CD's or Vinyls and only buy official downloads if the track is not to get on a CD or vinyl like the "Stripped (Orchestral Version)".

If I pay for something I want to have it physically in my house, so I'm maybe old fashioned, but that's my view.

Couldn't have summed it up better  Sometimes I wonder if those three do have a place, ... I love Scooter, but concerts are very special to me, and I love my collection.. Then if Scooter weren't there there wouldn't be collection and even less concerts
