In my opinion every player should play for his native country. It would be honest football.

Well said, by the way.
Foreigners shouldn't be allowed to play for the national team - this way only the real native people from the country can represent it.

We have alot of black players in England now, many are African and have come over here to play. But there are many English, black players. Emile Heskey is a good example, Ashley Cole being another. Glen Johnson is another, he's a right back. Rio Ferdinand, world class centre back. Shaun Wright-Phillips, etc. All English.

I do agree though, players should be playing for his native country. Eduardo should be competing for the Brazil team, not the Croatian one. Podolski should have been up front for Poland tonight, not Germany. But, this is EU law. They decide these things.

You have many blacks in the team, same with France.
I don't really understand that, in France there are like 3-4 white guys and all others are black, and that's from a European team?
If I was watching football for the first time I would say that it's some African national team, instead of a European one

In France, if we have a lot of Black people it's mainly because of DOM/TOM, some regions outside France, like Guadeloupe, Martinique,...
And also because of our colonization in Africa some years ago.

About Euro, really great match from Germany, let's hope France will be as good tomorrow ! :D

Owen Hargreaves has a Welsh mother, a Canadian father but was born in England... how would that work?

A lot of black players are English as well. Britain was part of the slave trade many years ago so we would have quite a few black people here. I don't really judge people by what they are or who they are but how they treat others... as I guess most of you do. 8)

great game, only Polish footballers scored yesterday

i have to watch highlights again. i'm not sure but i think there was offside when Lukasz Podolski scored on 1:0

i regret when krzynowek miss in 1st minut of the game and Lehmann's fingertips save in second half..

i think Germany can make high place on this Euro, they're better than 2 years ago. Poland without Kuba Blaszczykowski on right wing isn't the same, but there's always the chance..

I think Podolski and at least Klose are Germans because their families come from former German areas which now belong to Poland (Preußen - Oppole/Oppeln; Gliwicce/Gleiwitz). So they are Germans from their blood.

But they are in the former Schlesien andf this was part of the German Empire until the end of WWII. Oppole and Gliwice were Oppeln and Gleiwitz. Klose is also a German name. That's why I think that the Kloses are a German family that lived in the former Schlesien which became Polish after WWII. And like many Germans who lived in Eastern Europe the Kloses went to Germany.

However, all the members of the German national team have got German passports and this is what counts today, fortunately. Nobody asks which nationality your blood has...! :x

This is not true for all the players who were even born in Germany. Many Turkish players which have also a German passport play for Turkye.

You are right 8) We don't judje people for their colour of scin but we talk that most of players who play for England, for example, weren't born in this country so, as I've already said, football had become a commercial TV show.

By the way what do you think about Shevchenko? He plays for Chelsea.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

As my family are Man Utd fans they don't really like Chelsea. To me he is an everage player who gets paid too much. He should have stayed in Milan, that was his home.
