Basshunter seems to like Scooter.
When I saw him live in Bulgaria, he was singing the "Dub dub dub" part from Maria during Botten Anna.
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

He was using the H.P. moves, I think he is trying to act like him.
Also the "Give it up" and "Yeeaaah" shouts that are very typical for H.P. were there too.
So I'm pretty sure this guy is affected by Scooter.

Basshunter is with Hard2beat here in the UK.

....who have had problems with the second UK single release 'Please Don't Go'...therefore 'All I Ever Wanted' is due as the second single instead.
Mixing it up with Scooter, interesting concept though!

Sweden should be fucking ashamed of Basshunter. I think it's hard for non-swedes to understand just how much the general population despise that fucking bad excuse for an "artist". The only swedes who can listen to his songs, without violently vomiting all over the place is young girls, ages 12-14.

^^^^^ Interesting to know, you live in Sweden yourself? If so, is Basshunter known over there as to generally rip off other peoples material & try be more successful than the original artist with it?

As i know this was the case with 'dotA', which was originally done 2000/2001 by French artists Daddy DJ, song also titled daddy DJ ....people have gotta remember this classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI_MVldpxDQ
Although i don't think this was a hit in the UK, i heard it whilst in the States during summer '02-they loved this track over there. 'All I Ever Wanted' is 'dotA' just with English lyrics, they haven't even bothered to mix it up...music is cock on the same! Listen here to the UK version that's to be released soon: http://www.hard2beat.com/releases/basshuntersnewtrackforrealthistime (Don't mind cover versions, but at least try make it your own  )

I do, and I don't think people in general are aware of the fact that he rips off other artists. Nor do I think they care.

His first song about a fucking irc-bot ("Boten Anna"/"Now you're gone") some perhaps found to be mildly amusing at first. Same thing with the second one, DoTA since it's about a damn Warcraft 3 mod.

That was almost three years ago, though, and I have yet to meet anyone who genuinely likes his music. It's fucking ridicilous that anyone would even buy the english versions, since they even lack what made them "unique" (in lack of a better word) in the first place, the sheer geekiness of them.

And to suggest Scooter should co-operate with him.. Scooter has fallen pretty low in my eyes, but that would be pissing all over the band name.

Hard2beat did good things for Basshunter with the English version of 'Boten Anna', known to the UK listeners as 'Now You're Gone'. The video was up to alot more than that of 'Boten Anna', therefore got more interest.....hence the reason this became a floor filler, I mean even Alex K sang this at the Manchester Clubland tour back in March.

As for 'dotA' the story behind this is just crazy, but the thing is the original material by Daddy DJ wasn't a hit in the UK - therefore people are thinking it's a class track. Yes the beats are good, has good rhythm & has real energy, just annoys me that enough people haven't heard the original thing. Have a feeling the English version 'All I Ever Wanted' will do pretty well here though.

I'm not sure if I got this right, but is there a problem with Basshunter doing covers and trying to be more successful than the original artists?
you sir, are an idiot
